*Corbyn Up Top*

We clean everything up in silence, then he goes over to sit by the window.

I sit next to him and watch him look outside. "Can I ask you something?"

He's still looking outside. "Yeah, anything."

"How did you react when you realized it was Corbyn kissing Bailey?"

He shrugs. "I was really upset. I slammed the door and left the house. They both followed me and kept saying, 'it's not what it looks like', but it was. Him and I didn't talk for weeks after. It took me a really long time to forgive him."

"He broke bro code."

He laughs a little. "I know. You never go after your best friends' girlfriend."

"Did he like her?"

He shrugs. "I think so. He had a crush on her. But she picked me. Maybe it would have been better if she picked him. Save everyone from the heartache."

"Well it's over now. You're a really great guy, you know?"

He laughs a little and finally looks at me. "You think so?"

I laugh too. "I know so." I kiss his cheek and he blushes.

"I hope nobody will steal you away from me."

"Nobody could ever." I look at him.

He takes my hand. "You're special."

I know what he means by that, so I just choose to ignore it.

"Would you mind taking me home? I don't know if you have anything else planned."

"I do not." He stands up. "Let's go."

We go out to the car and he drives to my street. He parks at the corner.

He digs in his pocket and hands me an old phone. "So, we can still talk." He smiles. "Just try not to get caught with it."

I smile. "You really didn't have to."

"I know, but I can't not talk to you. I'm leaving for Pennsylvania tonight."

I frown a little. "Will I ever see you again?"

He nods. "I'll make sure of it." He grabs my hand and kisses it.

I hug him. "Bye Daniel."

"Bye Ellie."

I keep saying that I'm going to update more often, and I never do.
