It's after 7pm, so I try to sneak through my window like I always do. Luckily there's nobody waiting for me this time. I lay in my bed and pull out the phone he gave me. It's a little old flip phone, but it's the thought that counts. It has his number and 911. I chuckle. I miss him. I can't wait to see him again.

Saturday Morning

My mom walks into my room. "Would you like some breakfast?"

I open my eyes and nod. "Yes."

"Well you have to make it yourself. Liam has soccer practice early today." And then she leaves.

Of course, my little brother comes first. Especially because they're so mad at me.

I sigh and pull the covers off me and find some clothes. I grab the phone and my clothes and go to the bathroom. I leave them on the sink so I can shower.

A few minutes after, I hear the phone go off. I open the curtain and stare at it. Should I get out and look at it? I probably should wait.

I close the curtain and I wash my hair.

But it goes off again. So, I hurry up and put on a towel and grab the phone.

"Hey Ellie, I miss you :("

I smile and text back. "Hi Daniel, I miss you too"

"Philly would be better with you here"

"I've always wanted to go"

"I could take you some time, I wish I would have brought you"

I put the phone down, finish showering, and get dressed. I hide the phone under a bunch of clothes in my dresser and go downstairs.

I walk around the kitchen for a few, like food is going to magically appear and make itself. I open the fridge and we have eggs. But I don't really want eggs. I open the cupboard and we have pop tarts. That'll just have to work.

I sit on the couch and grab my book bag off the floor. I have nothing to do today so I might as well study. Chemistry. Ew.

I have decent grades. A's and B's. I think I'm going to get into a good college next year.

My dream is to be a children's therapist.

Suddenly my stomach growls and I realize that pop tart wasn't enough for me.

I grab my purse and I decide to go to the diner on our street. Maggie's. Everybody from school hangs out there. It's a old school diner like, as most diners are.

I take a seat and look at the menu. Not wanting anything too light or too heavy. I hear laughing and I turn around to see Miles and his "friends" walking my way.

I sigh and try to hide my face in the menu.

Unfortunately, it fails. He sits at the table and looks at me. His buddies sit, pushing me over by the window.

"What now Miles? I just want to get some food in peace." I say, annoyed.

"I told Olivia that I'd get to know you better, you know, since we're dating."

I roll my eyes. "She might like you, but that doesn't mean that I have to."

"I think you should. If you want to stay out of trouble."

"What are you talking about?" I glare at him.

He laughs, like he always does.

"With your new famous boyfriend, you're pretty popular. Rumors about you could spread like wildfire. So, do what I say, and I won't ruin your new little life."

And with that, my heart fell into my stomach.
