20 | ICE CREAM

After we had fun at some arcades, we went over to an ice cream parlor to satisfy our cravings. We sat on the table near the window, it's always the best spot when eating ice cream.
"Vanilla?" I asked Beomgyu, which he undoubtedly nodded in response.
I went up to the counter and browsed the ice cream flavors.
Mint Chocolate.
I bit my lower lip, contemplating about the weird cold toothpaste flavor of the ice cream.
"One vanilla and one mint chocolate please, thank you."
I went back to our table, waiting for our order. I think I just made the wrongest decision in my life. I don't eat mint chocolate... I tried it once, but it really tastes like toothpaste freezed in the freezer overnight. It's too minty and sweet and... toothpaste.
Our orders arrived in a short moment but Beomgyu's eyes were glued on the ice cream that I ordered.
"M-mint chocolate?! Are you serious?" He couldn't believe his eyes‐uh, me too.
I scratched my nape.
"Did Yeonjun possess you?"
"I-I wanted to try mint chocolate so..."
He kept on shaking his head in disbelief and took a spoon serving of his ice cream.
