Beomgyu went home rejecting my offer to walk him even just until the bus stop. I should've had apologized to him. My chest feels heavy.
I stayed on a playground near our house and sat on a swing, thinking how I could make up with him. I lost count on the number of sighs I did.
When suddenly, I felt uneasy. There were no people around but it feels like someone is staring at me, more like observing. I stood up and looked around.
As soon as I sat back again, I heard a rustle of leaves and footsteps behind me. I immediately saw someone in a hoodie running away. My legs moved in a split of second and chased that person.
He was running very fast but fortunately I reached his wrist and I almost ran out of breath. I think I just used a year-worth energy.
Heavy breaths can be heard in this silent street. I was holding him tightly and pulled him closer to me.
That was the moment my heartbeat stopped.
