Quarantine [Tag Book]

So...

     So..... our cat's been missing for like two days... and my dog kept sniffing under the cover of our Blackstone grill in our backyard and looking up at me yesterday, and when I'd walk away she'd bark and growl and yip and stuff, but I was being a dumb person and didn't get the hint. 

     This morning I was outside with my mom and my brother, telling my mom about how she was acting weird. I looked under the cover while I was telling the story, thinking maybe there was a dead mouse or something- I instantly dropped the cover, looked back at my mom and gave her a horrified expression, "I found the cat".

     I don't like cats, but I am actually kinda sad, this one was one of the few that actually liked me and was kinda nice to me, and now we've got birds everywhere leaving us all sorts of presents... my brother still doesn't know, he still thinks it ran away... I think that's kind of a good thing, I don't want him to know his cat suffered.

     Before you go on thinking my dog is a murderer, I'm really proud of my dog in this sense, because she's a hunting dog and hates cats. She also caught a chicken once, that was... interesting but that's a story for a different time. She could've easily gotten under that cover and got the cat, but she left the cat alone and let the cat go... somewhat peacefully considering that it got poisoned somehow, it either ate a cockroach that was poisoned or a dying mouse that had been poisoned from our neighbors, which is actually a really painful death... anyways, she continued to try and get our attention to let us know that my brothers beloved cat was no longer with us, so I'm slightly mind blown and very, very proud of my dog.

     I guess I'm supposed to pay some respects now...?

     Rest in peace Percy, at least you'll be with your brother now.
