This was when guys wearing girls' scrunchies on their arms became 'cool'. This whole chapter is basically dedicated to a gay joke.

Reminder: I'm not a 'homophobe', I've got at least 3 cousins that I know of who are gay. I respect that this is life for most people now, but in my town even the LGBTQ+ community cracks gay jokes so don't @ me. This is a true story and if it offends you I'm sorry I just had to share some humor that I've been taught in my town. I'm going through a very rough roll right now aren't I lol.

Here's a backstory- the guy I'm talking to is a relatively attractive guy. He cares a lot about his masculinity, and exercises a LOT- and had recently gotten into a relationship. I couldn't resist, okay? X'D

Me:  *looks at guys wrist* I don't get it, what's that all about?

Him:  It symbolizes a relationship.

Me:  Well I figured that much, but why a scrunchie of all things. What does the girl get?

Him:  *shrugs* Usually the guys jacket.

Me:  Sooo the chick gets to look bada--, and the guy gets to look suuuper gay?

Him
