    Song: Bloom by Troye Sivan

These were the changes I was talking about. He's the prince and soon to been King of Finnland. Jk, it's Spain.

"Are you serious?" I asked, my eyes bulging. Finn nods, becoming ecstatic. His curls bouncing up and down with his excitement. "You want me to meet your parents...who's the king and queen." He nods again. "Do they even know I exist? I don't have royal blood in me."

"Who cares. They'll love you. They know of your existence, I speak of you all the time. To be honest, it kind of drives them nuts." He speaks as if it was no problem and it made me crazy.

"What will I wear to that damn ball. Might you forget I'm not rich." I informed, crossing my arms.

"That's why we'll be leaving in five minutes." My eyes bulge, looking down at my sweats and my hoodie with nacho stains on it. I sprung into the air, putting on y/c/c.

Finn opened the back door for me, closing it firmly behind him.

My fingers touched the fabrics of the million of dresses in front of me. I stared at them in awe. "I don't think I'll be able to choose."

"Just choose what speaks to you." He grins, leaning back on a seat.

I couldn't decide, trying on dress after dress. One had these feathers and it was huge around the waist, making my butt look humungous. I decide to be dumb and shake my ass, having Finn dying of laughter. He kept telling me he loved every dress but I still could decide. Until one dress.

I opened the curtain, seeing him do a double take on me. "Wow." He breathes, watching me with heart eyes. My face began to turn red as he whistled when I spun around. "You look amazing." This is the dress.

I got out the limo, seeing Finn waiting for me. He grabs my hand, assuring me inside. "You look so beautiful." He whispers, kissing my head.

"Thank you." I said, letting him lead me. Inside everyone was laughing loudly, seeming at home. My eyes landed on Finn's parents, fear taking over. "Uh...I-"

"They'll love you." He reassures, kissing my temple. "But first, let's dance."

"You, dance? But you hate dancing." I said with shock.

"I can't dance, there's a difference. Now let's go." On the dance floor he puts on hand on my waist, holding his other hand in mine. It felt weird doing ballroom dancing, I wasn't use to it and I stepped on his toes sometimes. It didn't gaze him, he just kept staring at me with an amused look. My eyes look in his parents directions, seeing them eyeing us. I gulped, looking away.

Finn seen that where I was looking at and gave me a squeeze of reassurance. "You wanna meet them?"

Fear washed over me as he took my hand, not waiting for an answer. My heels clicked against the floor as he mumbled excuse me to people, getting heart eyes from girls.

His parents saw was coming over and looked at me. "Mom, dad, this is Y/n. My girlfriend." Even though I was scared I can't help but to mentally scream with excitement when he says the word girlfriend out loud.

"Hi." I tried to keep my voice bright, smiling. "It's nice to finally meet y'all." I wasn't sure if I could bow or say your highness but I just stick with smiling.

His mom gave me an unsure smile. "And the same for you. Finn told us many things about you. Come, join us at the table."

I nodded, Finn laying his hand on my back. "If this goes well, I may give you a special tonight." My face became a cherry red at his dirty joke, however, it fades once his parents looked at us. They heard him. Finn seemed unbothered though, smiling at them.

"So tell us Y/n." He dad began. "How did you meet Finn?"

Nick sat down with us, giving me a warm smile. I think he's the only one who likes me in Finn's family so far. I know I just met his parents but they're giving me looks. "Well we met at this bouquet store I work at. It was quite cute. He would occasionally come in, looking at the flowers and one day he asked me which bouquet I thought was the best. I said the violets and the next day, he bought one only to find out he was giving them to me. I was quite shocked."

Finn smiles at the memory. His mom cleared her throat. "Did you know who he was?" I nodded. "Oh, you guys look lovely together on the ballroom floor." Those words made me come at ease. "But, how do you think it'll work out? You don't seem like the girl who has a tint of royal blood in you." I choked on my drink as well as Finn.

   "Mom!" He yells, outrage.

"Don't use that tone with me young boy." She warns. "I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just speaking the truth." I slumped into my seat, knowing it's gonna be a long night.
