I held firmly onto Flora's hand as I lead her to the sewing room. Things happened in there, things I can't even describe. Her cute innocent figure was oblivious to my limp, to the blood showing through my pants. Miles gave me hell after Flora left. The glass shattering near my head before he wrapped his hands around my throat. I didn't think he'd be that angry, he acted as if I killed Flora. My only guess is that the nanny Kate set him off. Other than that, I questioned his actions. Especially when he gave me a first aid kit. Well, he threw it at me and told me to get cleaned up. I'm guessing he just wants me to look decent at Flora's party. Now that was a surprise. He woke me up at dawn to help decorate.
•~Earlier this morning~•
"Get up."
I groaned loudly, wincing from the sudden soreness in my body. Everyday I feel like this cage gets smaller and smaller.
Miles stormed over to me, I looked anywhere but him. I felt him undo the lock on my collar, the chain falling to the ground besides me. "Follow me." He wouldn't let me get up before I was being choked and practically dragged by him. "Is the dress finished?"
"Yes Master." Why is he asking? He saw it last night.
I looked to my left to take a peek at the sky, the sun was barely peeking. Jesus how early did he wake me? And what does he want?
My questions were soon answered as he opened the door to where it looks like a small ballroom. But it was fairly big. I saw boxes stacked and balloons in a corner. "You're going to help me decorate this place. I don't trust anyone to decorate because I know what Flora specifically want. You're going to help and do not take your time. There's alot that needs to be done today."
End
"Can I look now?" Flora whines, laughter trailing after.
"No, not until we get there. Just a second." I said the best I could. My hands were over her eyes as I opened the door, Miles patiently waiting. He looks so calm. It made me skeptical as hell. "Okay, 3. 2. 1." I unveiled her eyes, her body confused.
"Why'd you count down? That fabric is covering it."
"I was just letting you know when I was going to let you open your eyes. I don't want you to strain your eyes from sudden brightness." She nods, looking at Miles for permission to see what's underneath the cloth. He nods with a warm smile, I leaned against the wall as Flora approached the mannequin. I really hope she likes it. Miles doesn't know about the few last minute touch ups I did before he got me to go back in that cage.
Her whole body lit up, especially her eyes as she out a squeal. "Is this for me?" I nod, laughing as she hops up and down. "Oh, my god! I love it!"
"Y/n made it." Miles told her. I furrowed my brows, shocked that he admit that.
I didn't get the chance before the air was knocked out of my lungs. I never knew a little girl could have that much strength. "Thank you so much Y/n! You're the best. This is the best present anyone has ever gotten me. And you made it! That's amazing. Thank you."
