Chapter Seventeen: Los Baile (A Ball)

I take the next persons order before I look over at the clock. My shift is over! I get someone else to take over the cashier and I go to the back.

I take my things off and walk out of the store. I start my way back to the dorm.

Looking down at my feet as I walk, I bump into someone. I stumble backwards and steady myself before looking up.

"When I said 'hope to bump into you' I didn't mean literally." Xavier chuckles.

I blush. "Sorry."

"It's alright. Now what are you doing out alone?"

"Walking back to my dorm from work."

"May I?" Xavier asks, holding his arm out. I giggle and take his arm, walking with him.

We come up to the dorm and I let go of Xavier's arm.

"Arya, would you be interested in coming to a ball?" Xavier asks.

"Yes, I think I would." I nod.

"Here." Xavier hands me a fancy invitation. "It's the Christmas ball my family holds, I do hope I'll see you there."

"I'll see if I can come." I smile.

"And, if you have an relatives here, they're welcome to come too. It's anyone with the last name Hemsworth that's in your family."

"Thank you Xavier!" I smile, giving him a hug.

"No problem Arya." He chuckles, hugging back. "Now go to sleep, it's late."

I nod and let go, running into my dorm to tell my friends about the invitation.

Sorry it's so short, it's kind of a filler.
