{ chapter ten ~ breaking the rules }
"He orders me!" Mila shouted as she paced the 'sleeping quarters' of the cave. "He ordered me?" Mila continued. Her eyes tearing up with anger as her shouts slammed from one stone to the other. Edmund watched her, "Mila, calm down." He told her, worrying for his friend's safety as her anger boiled. "I can't believe he ordered me, Edmund! I'm his Queen, not some loyal subject!" She slumped down onto one of the rock chairs. "I'm a warrior! One of Narnia's best! I can't believe he ordered me to stay here!" Edmund grinned as he sat beside her, his arm lying carelessly over her shoulder as he whispered into her ear, "What Peter doesn't know, won't hurt him." He said before standing up, he gave the girl a smile and a wink before heading back to the main part of the underground fortress.
"What Peter doesn't know won't hurt him..." she mumbled, a small grin on her face...
