"Babe, wake up." Colby said kissed the back of my head, "hmm why?" I asked and kept my eyes closed, snuggling into my pillow more, "I called the doctor, they can get you in at 10 for your head." He said causing me to smirk, "you made an appointment for my head?" I mumbled as he slid out of the bed. "I did, because you need to get it looked at before I have a heart attack." He said with a laugh and pulled at my arms forcing me to sit up, "usually I'm the one pulling you out of bed." I mumbled coyly as he chuckled, "yeah well you're a lot sleepier now than you usually are." He said as I finally rolled out of bed. "Yeah I guess making a human can really make you sleepy." I said and trudged over to closet, "can we get icees on the way back?" I yelled from the closet, "for breakfast?" He laughed out from the bathroom. "I mean I guess technically, yeah!" I yelled and heard him laugh, "whatever you want, babe." He yelled as I grabbed one of the maternity dresses I bought a couple weeks ago.

It had black and white stripes so I grabbed my white converse and a oversized cardigan and got changed. I struggled to even get my shoes on but I eventually slipped both of them on and walked out of the closet with both shoes untied, "you're adorable." Colby said as he admired me from the doorway of the bathroom. He was still only wearing his grey sweatpants as he leaned against the door, "am I?" I asked and huffed as I looked in the floor length mirror that was set in the corner of the room. I usually liked the way I looked but right now I felt like a beached whale. "Yeah, you really are." He said and came up behind me. I bit my lip as tears welled up in my eyes. My lip trembled as I tried to hold back the tears.

"Don't cry angel." He said and turned me away from the mirror, "you're gorgeous." He assured and I shook my head, "I look like a whale." I mumbled looking down, "you do not." He said with a laugh and kissed my forehead, "you look beautiful, I really like that dress on you." He said and pulled back so he could look at the outfit all together, "thank you." I mumbled as he got down on his knee to tie my shoes, "good thing you already proposed or I might have gotten the wrong idea right now."I said as he smirked and looked up at me, "ha. Okay I'm gonna get dressed then we have to go, we will probably already be late because of traffic." He said and jogged into the closet.

He emerged from the closet wearing black jeans and a white v-neck, his leather jacket was in his hands. "Wow." I whispered causing him to smirk, "what?" He laughed out as he helped me up, "you're just really attractive" I said and walked out of the room. I heard him laugh behind me, "we are definitely the hottest couple in the house, that's for sure."

"THAT'S FALSE." Katrina yelled from the kitchen. "Whatever you say!! We are going to the doctors we will be back" Colby yelled and opened the door, gesturing for me to go out first.

"I'm a little nervous," I said as he pulled out of the driveway, "I know, it's gonna be okay though, they will give us answers, and I'm right here beside you." He said and grabbed my hand. "I'm so grateful for you." I whispered and put my other hand on his, sandwiching his hand in mine. "I'm grateful for you too, baby." He said with a smile.

We made it to the hospital by 9:57 and ran into the building, we checked in and immediately got led through to a room,

"Cora?!" Someone yelled from down the hall, "Meghan!" I yelled and hugged her after she jogged over to us, "are you having the baby?!" She yelled happily as she pulled away, "no! I have to get my head checked out, I had a seizure last night." I said as she hugged Colby, "oh my, I'm glad you're okay!" She said with a frown, "me too, how have you been?" I asked and she just smiled as she grabbed the chart from the nurse who was leading us down the hallway, "I've been doing okay, it's been pretty busy here and my favorite patient is gone." She said and opened the room we were supposed to go in, "yeah I was wondering why you were working over here and not in the ICU." Colby said.

"Yeah, I'm kind of just floating around right now. But I'm so happy I could see you guys today!" She said and I gasped, "wait!! I have news." I said causing her to turn before leaving the room, "what's up?" She asked as I held my left hand up, she was the only one who knew that Colby and I weren't really married, she had been in the room when Colby called me his girlfriend, but she didn't care or say anything about it. "Oh my GOD! Congratulations guys!" She squeeled and ran to me swallowing me in a hug.

"Thank you!!!" I yelled and hugged her back. The doctor came in at that moment and gave us a suspicious look, "I'm sorry, she's an old friend." Meghan said and straightened her scrubs as she stood.

"That's fine Meghan, how are you feeling Cora." The doctor asked as Meghan handed her my chart, "I'm okay, I just had a seizure last night and I wanted to make sure nothing is wrong." I said nervously and twisted my ring. Colby grabbed my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "It doesn't look like you have any history of epilepsy...I can do a couple tests and some blood work but the only way we can really tell what's going on in there is with a CT scan and I don't feel comfortable giving you one of those while you're so pregnant. How far along are you?"

"almost 7 months." I said quietly and traced a heart on my leg to keep my hands moving, "okay, we will do what we can do today and then once the baby is born we can do more tests, I'll prescribe you some seizure medication that is safe for you to take for the time being. Other than that how are you feeling?" She asked as I bit my lip,

"Everything else is fine, I'm just glad the painful part is mostly over." I sighed out and she nodded, "yeah, you're pretty strong. I have had grown men crying from those injuries WITH morphine. Child birth will be a breeze for you." She said and Colby smiled at me, "she's a tough one." He said softly and rubbed his thumb along my hand.

We got my prescription and headed to the gas station to get my icee, "I wish I had more answers.." I sighed out causing him to frown, "I know, but I'm glad you have some medicine for now that will prevent them from happening." I nodded in agreement and sipped on my blue raspberry icee.
