This was the first night Mia slept throughout the night, which meant progress was being made. I was glad that I was fully rested because the girls and I were going to go to lunch so we could start planning my wedding.

My wedding.

The idea alone sent butterflies through my stomach. I never thought I would get married, I didn't believe anyone could ever love me enough for it. I never in a million years thought I would be where I am at the age of 21 but I wouldn't trade it for the world, Colby and I were meant to be.

"You ready to go?" Kat asked as I made my way down the stairs, "yup! Where are the other girls?" I asked and grabbed my bag. "They're in the car, let's go!" She yelled happily and grabbed a notebook and some pens. I could tell Kat was going to take this planning seriously,

"alright, I'll meet you in the car." I said and walked to the bottom of the stairs. "Hey babe!?" I yelled up to Colby, "what's up?" He asked coming out of the bedroom. He had Mia in one arm and was brushing his teeth with the other. He was only wearing grey sweatpants which sent my heart into overdrive. He was just so attractive. "You're gonna catch flies if you don't close your mouth." He teased and I rolled my eyes, "ha. I'm going to lunch with the girls, I'll be back later." I said and he nodded, "alright, I love you." He said and smiled, "love you too." I said and turned to leave.

It felt weird leaving without Mia or Colby since I have only really been around them for the past two weeks, but it also felt good. I was really excited to just spend some time with the girls and with no interruptions.

"Are you excited?!" Kat yelled as I got in the backseat with Tara, "honestly yeah." I said and buckled up.

We drove around aimlessly until we decided to go to a brunch spot we have never been to before since this was a little bit of a special occasion.

When we got there Kat pulled out her notebook and pens, but when the waitress came over I was in shock, "hey guys my name is Jen I'll be you-" she started then looked up to see who we were, "oh what the fuck." She groaned and made eye contact with me. "I see you're out of prison." I said with a deadpan expression, "I never went to prison. Jason sure as hell did though." She said with a smirk. "This is incredibly awkward." Tara said and looked in between us, "oh I'm willing to put our past behind us since ya know you guys broke up." She said causing me to narrow my eyes, "what are you talking about?" I asked and furrowed my brow, "I really don't have a problem with you since you and Colby broke up."
She said nonchalantly, "ummm they didn't break up?" Kat said and lifted my left hand hand, showing off my engagement ring, "oh..that's awkward." Jen said mischievously, "why would you think we broke up?" I asked and she laughed, "I don't know. Ask your fiancée. I'm gonna get you a new waitress." She said then walked off.

"Okay....what the actual fuck?" Tara asked as we all looked at eachother with confused expressions. "She's just bluffing Cora, don't listen to her." Devyn said and put her hand on mine.

She was right.

But I couldn't shake the idea from my mind of him possibly cheating on me.

I just sighed and shook my head, plastering a smile on my face, remembering how Colby acted towards me. He doesn't just tell me that he loves me, he shows me too. Jen was just trying to get under my skin.

It was working.

"Anyways let's start planning your wedding. Your wedding with COLBY who loves YOU." Kat said making me roll my eyes with a laugh, "the guy who's currently at home in YOUR bedroom with YOUR daughter. Yes. Let's plan." Tara said and smiled.

A new waitress came over and took our orders, and we started to talk about dates to do it.

"Colby mentioned the first week of February, so I was thinking maybe February 6th. It's a Saturday." I said and Kat started writing down notes. "It's whatever you want! It's your wedding." She said and I smiled.  "Okay...um...I don't know where we should have it." I said with a sigh and took a sip of my water. "Ooo maybe at like a botanical garden or something like that. It could be beautiful." Devyn said and I smiled, "yeah, or somewhere really scenic like in the mountains." Kat said, "or the beach!" Tara chimed in. I smiled at their enthusiasm, "I like all of those options, I'll talk to Colby to see what he thinks but he said he really doesn't care what we do." I said as our waitress set down our food.

"You just got a salad?" Kat asked and looked at the plain garden salad in front of me, "yeah, no pancakes until I get my body back...we have to wedding dress shop soon." I said with a frown and picked up my fork. "Girl you already look great! I wouldn't even know you had a baby two weeks ago." Kat said and I smiled, "thanks Kat, that means a lot to me." I said and put my hand on hers giving it a little squeeze before pulling it back.

We ate and talked more about the wedding, but my mind kept going back to what Jen had said. Why would she think we broke up? Was someone saying something? Or was she talking to Colby behind my back? I had to tread lightly because I sure as hell didn't want her back in my life, or back in Colby's.

"Cor.." Kat said and shook my shoulder, "sorry, what?" I said and shook my head, "we just wanted to know when you were planning on dress shopping...are you okay?" She asked as I bit my lip nodding, "yeah! Just thinking. Um..maybe next week we can start the journey of finding a dress." I said and smiled, thinking about what dress I would want.

I could see myself in different types of dresses and I didn't really want to set my standards too high for one type, I wanted it to speak to me. "I can't wait to see you in a wedding dress! I'm going to actually sob." Kat said and I smiled, "yeah, I will too. I can't believe this is happening!" I said happily and smiled,

I couldn't believe I was really going to marry the love of my life.

A/N: If I don't update a lot in the next couple days I'm sorry! I'm starting to feel a bit insecure about my writing and I only want to put out my best work.
