A few more weeks passed, the girls and I were going to start my wedding dress journey today. I wasn't expecting to find anything on the first trip, but I was still excited to get out there and try them on.

"Are you going to help mommy find a wedding dress?" I asked Mia as I rocked her, she just smiled up at me as she reached for my hair. "I'll take that as a yes." I said and grabbed the diaper bag I would need. Then tried to grab the stroller with one arm. I was struggling until Colby peaked his head out of the bedroom, "need some help?" He asked with a laugh and I nodded, "actually yeah." I breathed out and dropped the stroller so that he could carry it for me.

"How long are you guys going to be filming?" I asked as he followed me down the stairs. "We will probably be back by 10 tonight, we are just filming interviews and stuff today, it won't be an issue. What about you? When will you guys be back?" He asked as we walked to the car. "It depends on how quickly I find a dress, or if I even find a dress I look good in." I breathed out, raking my free hand through my hair, "I think you're going to have the opposite problem, you're gonna look so good in all of them that you won't be able to pick." He said and pulled me to him with one arm, "heh, you're funny." I said and opened the car door, then strapped Mia in.

She looked at us with wonder in her eyes since she never really leaves the house. The idea of something happening to her gives me so much anxiety that we usually keep her safe in our little bubble. Unfortunately both Colby and I had plans today so we couldn't leave her here and I would rather take her dress shopping with me than to a scary haunted place with Colby.

"I'm being serious, you're the most gorgeous, sexy, amazingly beautiful, stunning girl I have ever met, you could wear a paper bag and it would look amazing on you." He said then leaned down to kiss my neck, "you're such a little shit" I said and snaked my arms around his neck, "I'm serious." He mumbled against my skin making me giggle, "whatever you say." I said as he pulled away, "I have to meet the girls there, I'm already late because Mia needed to eat." I said and he nodded, "alright, I'll see you later then, call me if you need me." He said and I nodded, "I'm serious Cora, don't hesitate." He said grabbing my face gently with his hands, "okay." I whispered and stood on my tip toes to give him a kiss, "love you," I said and opened my car door, "I love you too beautiful girl, have fun!" He said as I got in.

The drive was short, Mia cooed happily in the back as I sang to the radio. I missed singing and got kind of sad thinking about how I gave up my dream career to be a mom, Mia made it all worth it. She was truly the best thing to happen to me, along with Colby of course.

I finally made it to the dress boutique and got out of the car, pulling the stroller out of the trunk since I had to park sort of far from the building and Mia didn't really like being in her car seat for too long. When I opened the door she smiled at me, "hey sweet girl, are you excited?!" I said and pinched her cheek causing her to giggle happily. She really was such a ray of sunshine that could make my heart melt at any moment.

I strapped her into the stroller and grabbed the diaper bag before making my way down the street and to the boutique, "she's here!" Kat yelled as she held a flute of champagne in her hand, "Kat you're underaged how did you even get that?" I asked as she hugged me, "relax it's apple cider, I got you one too because I know you don't like drinking while you're breast feeding." I smiled at her, "thank you!" I said and rolled Mia over to the other girls.

"You must be the bride! I'm Kara, I'm going to be taking care of you today." The beautiful brunette said to me and held her hand out for me to shake, "I'm Cora, and this is Mia." I said and gestured to Mia who was looking at her cautiously, almost as if she was feeling her vibes. "It's nice to meet the both of you! She's so adorable and you're stunning!" She said and I smiled, "thank you." I whispered as Devyn linked her arm through mine,

"I had the girls each pick out one dress they want to see you in but why don't you take a look around and pick some that speak to you." Kara said and gestured to where the dresses were handing. I walked with the stroller over to the dresses where Tara and Kat were looking, "what are you thinking?" Tara asked and looked at me as I shifted through the dresses, "I have no idea.." I mumbled and looked at all of them, running my fingers through the fabric.

I ended grabbing a couple that I thought would look different so I could see the styles on my body, one was a fluffy ball gown with a fitted corset and butterflies placed along the bodice, another was a long flowy dress that was off the shoulder with a sweetheart neckline, and the last one was fitted bodice with a deep vneck and thin straps with a flowy tulle skirt.

"Alright, let's try some dresses on!" Kara said and brought the girls to the little waiting area.

I think Kat could tell I was nervous because she came over and gave me a hug, "you're gonna be okay. You're beautiful." She said then gave me a reassuring smile before running off to where the others were.

"You ready to try on some dresses?" Kara asked and I nodded, feeling the nerves bundle in my chest.
