When Zach admitted his strong feelings again to Ash, it seemed that he was less in control of his mind than both him and Ash wished. Again he broke the trust of Kay, cheating on her only to realize his impulsive actions didn't lessen his pain and didn't solve his former problems, in fact it only pushed him more to the edge. Although Daniel and Ash were challenged by the trouble that was their best friend they cared for him and for each other. They knew that although everything was confusing, it was never because their love for each other was too little, it was rather the opposite.

As Zach took some time apart from Ash as he needed to figure himself out, Daniel and Ash grew closer. Even though everything seemed to be going smoothly more challenges waited around the corner to test their patience and trust.

A few weeks later 

I was standing in front of the Seavey residence. Their new home, where Daniel and his -just as freaking cool- brothers lived. The crib were they once all lived, was their managers, but they moved out. Which still confused me, although I understand that having your own place is amazing, it still seemed rushed. Something triggered the boys to leave as soon as they did. It troubled Daniel whenever his manager was there, he always made sure my chats with that man were cut short. Something seemed fishy about their manager, but I knew that my opinion wasn't wished for. Anyways today I was meeting a few of Daniel's friends at his house warming. Nerve-racking and exciting...obviously. I guess I was his 'girlfriend' now? It felt weird being someones girl again. 

And your not Ash, you are your own person. I kept reminding myself. Relationship and commitment scared me, to the point I felt stuck, like my will wasn't solitary anymore. These thoughts derived from my past relationship. I couldn't help feeling terrified to be or life up to Daniel's expectations of a good girlfriend. Or should I say the world's expectations? The feeling of his love is new, but my fear was old and anchored deeper inside my heart. 

The door flew open, before I could even knock. J(jack): "Hello girlie pop. How is my girl doing?" he said nonchalantly. I looked ahead as Jack tried blocking my eyesight. J: "Earth to Ash! There's no one behind me stupid." He said waving his hand impatiently. A:"Sorry, I just-...nevermind." J:"You're nervous aren't you? C'mon Ash, everybody is always head over heals for you. These losers will not think any less of you." A: "I'm not nervous! I was just-." J: "Shut up. I don't like shy Ash." A: "Oh I'm sorry that I'm freaking anxious about all this!" J: "Owh stop it! You're just a lil' shy." I roll my eyes and push him aside. A: "I'm not shy!" Am I tho? Generally speaking I love being social, but sometimes situations regarding new people creep me out. But that's common, right?! I regret taking the lead. Let's do this whole awkward 'yes I'm Daniel's 'girl' thing'. I searched through the living room where I saw a few of my friends, Kian, Corey and Jonah. Then I recognized Corey's best friend Crawford and a few girlies standing around; which I knew that two of them were super close with the boys. 

I walked up to Kian and tapped on his shoulder. "Hi booboo." he turned around dramatically slow as a smirk grew. K:"ASHH!" He painfully pinched my sides with his elbow as he picks me up and throws me on the couch. A: "TJeeezus Kian!" I quickly sit up, slightly blushing in embarrassment. That's defenitly one way to introduce yourself in a friend group...Ugh how I hated being the center of attention. I looked around awkwardly smiling to everyone mad confused standing around or sitting next to where I just got thrown my ass too. I stand up quickly and squeeze Kian's ear "Don't you throw me like that again, that's embarrassing as fuck!" K: "Ouch Ash. I like to keep my ear." I roll my eyes, as he pouts his lips. A: "Repeat my words: I will not treat Ash like a freaking ball." K: "I will not treat Ash like a -freaking human." He quickly grabbed me again, but I -knowing he wasn't going to let me walk off that easily- already grabbed onto the kitchen counter which was slippery as hell. Whilst my fingers were getting sweaty and my grip got weaker, I see a girl coming up to Kian from behind. She tilted her head as she pinched her eyes to get a clearer look at me. I'm not a crumb, girl. Me literally holding on for dear life, with a cackling Kian stretching my body out, I couldn't give her any normal introduction. But a; "Hey, I'm-Ash." would do for now. I smiled awkwardly, whilst out of breath. "I see" she says, pulling one eyebrow higher. "Any reason why my boyfriend is trying to um-whatever the fuck-this is?" I swallow my excessively produced saliva and feel my face getting even more red. A: "I couldn't tell you. I -" Oh fuck, my fingers where now holding on to what felt like a never ending slippery slide, and there I went *boom*, with my legs in the air, because my ~lovely~ friend Kian still did not let go.... Even though his devilish looking girlfriend stared him down. The air got squeezed out of me as I land flat on the ground. Oh my lord...I sighed and took a second to myself to comprehend what just happened. I sit up, holding my head in my hands, afraid to look up and just overall-so-fucking-embarrased! Kian made me look childish, trying to play fight or whatever the fuck, to the point where it wasn't even a fair fight anymore it was just him lengthening my spine an inch and throwing my ass around. I breath out loudly as I stand up and bite my lip in complete annoyance. A: "For fucks sake, one day you'll literally rip me apart." He laughed loudly, but quickly got surprised with his miniature girlfriend stepping her feet impatiently, her arms tightly folded. She honestly looked like his mom. "Sara" He said rubbing the back of his head. I stood there giggling, that's right Kian-now you gotta listen to your girlfriend. I slipped away and walked up to Corey with the girls on his side.
