Chapter 16

"Rose?"

"Wow. You remembered." Rose playfully rolled her eyes then raised an eyebrow. "Don't think this the wrong way. It was suppose to be Mom and I but she has an errand to attend to at work so... Viola!" 

"Right." I said. "Let's talk at the living room."

"So... how was your honeymoon? Hmm?" I cleared my throat then looked at Greyson, who was actually enjoying eating the enchiladas that Rose brought for us. He looked at me with a "What" expression. Ugghh..

"It....was....okay, I guess?" I answered simply. 

"Wow." She sighed. "Never knew my sister would beat me by marrying first." She flashed me a smirk then giggled lightly.

"Why didn't Mom and Dad thought about you and Tanner instead?" I groaned. 

That's when Greyson spoke. "Of course, they can't. Tanner has a girlfriend." He shrugged then took a bite of an enchilada. 

"And my eyes are fixated on Ace and him only." Rose sighed dreamily as if she was back on her Ace-Wonderland. I don't wanna imagine what's in there. Gives me the creeps. Brr...

"Then can you please tell why me and why him?" I shot a glare at Goofball, who was still enjoying his food. 

"Well...." Rose pretended to think for a moment then shrugged. "You're single." She pointed at Greyson then giggled. "He's single. Then Bam! I hear church bells ringing." 

"That's it?" 

"Pretty much. Yeah." She nodded. 

I groaned. "Oh man... I wish I'd given Clyde a chance so that I could escape this terror of a nigtmare." I gently slapped both of my cheeks then hid my face. 

"Why don't you give me to him?" Greyson chuckled. 

"Why would I give you to him?" 

"Cause you said... Give Clyde a chance... Get it? Chance?" He burst out laughing only to find me and Rose, staring at him with jaws drop on the ground. What? I don't get it.

His laughter died down the moment he realized that he was the only one laughing. "What's with the both of you? Geez.... you two are sisters." He grumbled then walked out of the room, holding the bowl of enchiladas. 

After a moment of silence, Rose was the first one to break it. "Your husband's weird." 

"Now you know what a weirdo looks like." I muttered. "Anyway, what happened at Paris? Did you get Ace to kiss you at the City of Love?" I began to make kissy noises, which on her part annoys her.

"I wanted to but Nooo.... " She whined. "Your freaking sister-in-law has to be there in every place we go." 

"Blame Ace and his attractive face." I paused for a moment then smiled. "Ooh... that rhymes!" 

"Know what?" She smirked. "You two are perfect together." 

"You too?" I exclaimed. "Wait.... Don't tell me Mom and Dad said that to you, too." I waved my hands away from her then shook my head in disgust. 

"No.... You two are both weirdos." She playfully rolled her eyes then stood up.
