Chapter 7

"Where are we going?" I asked. Greyson was practically dragging me towards the yatch. I don't want to go anywhere after he just told me that Peaches was a gift. She was too cute to ignore.

"We're going somewhere." He smirked. "And Peaches need to stay with Butch. This activity requires only newly weds."

"But Peaches is my baby." I whined. "I need to be with her."

"Baby?" He froze then looked at me with an eyebrow slightly raised. "Don't tell me I'm the dog's father."

"Last time I check, you were my husband." I snapped.

"Last time I check, you didn't want me to be your husband." He smirked. "Or do you want to be?"

I rolled my eyes then shot a glare at him. "Just shut up."

"Thought so Mrs. "That-my-favorite-hoodie"." He snickered. In response, I yanked my hand away from him and marched towards the yatch, leaving him behind.

The festival was.... ummm what's the word? Freaky. Yeah that's it. Freaky.

People were dancing. Even though it's dark and the only light in the place is this big bonfire at the center, they still kept on dancing. It doesn't matter what your age or if you can't  walk. As long as you can boogie, you pass.

I am bored. Greyson, however, is excited. He kept a good grip on my wrist making me wince a little. Can't keep his excitement now, are we?

"Greyson, you're hurting me." I hissed.

He quickly let go of my wrist. "Sorry. I was just---"

"It's okay." I assured. "So... Tell me again, what are we doing here?"

He flashed his famous half-smile then held both of my hands. "To enjoy." He twirled me a bit, which made my head go dizzy. "Come on, let's dance." He grinned.

"I think I'll pass." I forced a smile then sit on the nearest log.

"You're no fun." He pretended to pout then smirked. His attention shifted to a girl..no that's not it.... Let's say a slutty looking girl who's butt is as big as a melon... There, I'm satisfied. She stopped at the refreshment table, giving flirty looks at the guys who passed her.

"I see you found your dance partner." I shrugged.

He gave me a confused look and smirked. "Pretend you don't know me, wife." He winked then walked towards the refreshment table.

                                            ------------------------------------------------------------

I was watching Goofball and Melon girl flirt at the refreshment table. It was far from entertaining. It was more of... Annoyingly, if you ask me. I mean, do all Melon girls bat their eyelashes at guys who flirts with them? Eew... That's just plain disgusting.

Jealous? No... Definitely not. I'm just bored. Can't blame me now, can you?

"Alone at such a fine evening, miss?" A voice asked. Judging by the voice, it seems like a guy. I felt him sit beside me and began to stretch his arms wide.

"Actually it's----- you know what? I can get used to the 'miss'." I giggled, not bothering to look at his face.

"As you wish, miss." He chuckled. I hesitantly laughed with him, playing with the wedding ring on my finger.
