AALIYAH TAYLOR

WHAT FELT LIKE hours later, Faith walked into my room, a wide smile playing on her lips. She signaled for me to follow and I did. She led me down the stairs and straight to Reid's office.

"Have fun!" Faith exclaimed before walking away and leaving me at the door alone.

It was in this moment my nerves began to take over my entire being. My palms grew sweaty as I raised my hand, curling it into a fist. I knocked on the door, waiting for an invitation into the office.

"Come in!" I heard Reid call out.

I took a deep breath as I reached for the doorknob. Turning the knob to the right, I pushed the door open, walking into the office. Reid sat on the edge of his desk, wearing a light blue dress shirt, a black pair of trousers and a black pair of shoes. He ran a hand through his hair, further disheveling it. I took a short breath as Reid's eyes traveled down my body.

"You look stunning." He said, his voice gravelly.

"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself." I squeaked as Reid eased off of the desk and slowly walked towards me.

"Ready to go?" He inquired, and I nodded, not trusting myself to speak.

Reid offered me his hand, and I wasted no time in grabbing it-my small hand fitting perfectly in his slightly bigger one. Reid led me out of the office, and through a hallway I'd never been through. At the end of the hall was a door, which had a keypad. Reid entered the password into the keypad before pushing the door open. I walked through the door, I realized we had entered the garage. I gasped quietly as I looked around at the variety of luxurious cars.

"Choose one." Reid said to me.

I craned my next to look up at him.

"Seriously?" I asked.

Reid only nodded, and I looked around the garage again, a smile playing on my lips as I looked at the cars once again.

"That one." I said, pointing in the direction of a black Porsche Carrera GT.

"Are you sure?" Reid questioned, but I only smirked, walking in the direction of the car.

Grabbing the keys off a rack on the wall, Reid walked towards me, a small smile playing on his lips. Reid opened the door for me and I thanked him quietly before he jogged over to the other side of the car and got in.

"So, where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll just have to wait and see." Reid laughed as he started the car.

I let out a small laugh as Reid frowned at me. So far, the  night had been going smoothly, and I was happy about that. Reid and I  were trying to get to know each other better, and quite frankly, I had  learned more about him in the last hour than I had in the few weeks of  knowing him. It was nice to see him outside of the office; the real him.

Reid had brought me to a restaurant called 'Carisma,' which was one of many  restaurants he owned. He had it closed down, so that we were the only  people here, aside from the employees. It was a medium sized restaurant.

"You mean to tell me, you wanted to be a lawyer?" I inquired as I took a sip of my wine.

"You laugh like it's a bad thing." Reid replied.
