12. Namjoon: Eomma Jin?

Hoseok's POV

We finish our breakfast and we all head to our rooms to get ready. We all pack our bags to bring with us, with the things we might need for the day. We are getting ready to head out when we get the eomma Jin experience at its finest.

"Guys make sure you bring lots of water because it is supposed to be really hot today and don't forget your mini hand fans either." Jin tells us, we all laugh.

"Yes hyung, we won't forget." Namjoon tells him laughing and Jimin mutters something under his breath.

"What was that Jimin?" Jin asks and turns to him with a serious look on his face.

"I said that you mothered us again so you can't get upset when the army calls you eomma Jin." Jimin speaks up and we all burst into laughter at the shocked look that spreads across Jin's features.

"I am not eomma Jin, I am just like an older brother." Jin defends himself causing us to laugh harder.

"Okay keep telling yourself that, hyung." Yoongi speaks.

"Anyways while Jin hyung comes to terms with the fact that he is in denial let's head to the beach." Namjoon speaks usher everyone out the door. We all climb in the van excited to spend a day off at the beach.

"Please everyone remember to put sunscreen on." Jin says and looks at us. We all laugh knowing we could bring up the eomma Jin thing again that army is always talking about, but we made fun of him enough about it today. We pull up to the beach and you could physically see the maknae line shaking with excitement, wiht huge smiles on their faces that cause my own smile to break onto my cheeks. Yoongi parks the car and we all jump out super fast not wanting to waste anytime. I am known for being the one who is super into making sure everyone wears sunscreen and Jimin is usually the one who tries to run away so i grab him first and start rubbing it on his arms and face and everyone else just kind of stands around waiting until I am done with Jimin so they can use the sunscreen.

"Can we go in the water now please hyung?" Jungkook begs Jin using the fact that he is the baby to his advantage, Jin just waves towards the water and the maknaes take off in a dead sprint and us hyung line stand here.

"Please someone remind them to take breaks throughout the day to get water, reapply sunscreen, eat and also to rest so they don't get too tired too fast." Yoongi says sitting down on the foldable beach chair he brought and pulling out his phone and headphones.

"Hyung are you going to come in the water at all with us?" I ask Yoongi as he sets everything up for himself and he just scrunches his face and shakes his head.

"I am not going in, unless I absolutely have to." He tells us before putting his headphones in his ears and lounging back into his chair. The other two and I head towards the water where we see the maknaes already wildly splashing water and each other, with the happiest expressions on their faces.

Jimin's POV

We have spent about 2 hours in the water so far and I am starting to get a little too warm and thirsty so I start heading back to the beach where Yoongi is relaxing. I turn to see everyone but Jin and Namjoon following me and I know that Hoseok is going to try and put more sunscreen on me while we are out of the water so I have to try and stay away from him. We make back to the shaded spot where Yoongi sots and grab our water bottles out of our bags I take a drink and see Hoseok reapplying his sunscreen and so I try shuffling away without being too noticeable, I failed after he chased me around for 10 minutes he caught me and reapplied the sunscreen on my sensitive skin. After about 15 minutes of being out of the water we head back to it and leave Yoongi to himself again. We are playing in the water for about 10 minutes before Jin takes a break and I am surprised that Namjoon didn't go with him. I swim over to where Namjoon is just kind of floating around relaxing in the cool water.

"Are you going to get some water soon? It is starting to get a lot warmer out here?" I ask him noticing the increasing temperature.

"Yeah in a little bit, I am just relaxing right now." He answers me as the other three swim towards us. Jungkook splashes some water in my direction and I squeal by the water making contact with my face. Hoseok just chuckles before turning his attention to Namjoon.

"Joonie aren't you going to take a break, you should really reapply your sunscreen." He states with a look of concern on his face.

"Yeah, I will head in soon I just want to sloat around and relax a little bit longer and then we should all head in and get some lunch." Namjoon responds before laying on his back on top of the water once again. Hoseok, Jungkook, Taehyung and I all swim away and begin splashing each other again, and are joined by Jin 15 minutes later. We splash each other and play around in the water for about 45 minutes after Jin joined us and I am starting to get hungry.

"Hyung, I am getting hungry. Can we go get lunch please?" I ask looking at Jin, before he can respond a chorus of me too's come from the other boys. I look over to see Namjoon floating around some more before I call to him.

"Namjoon hyung we are heading in to go get lunch." I call to him, looks up and nods swimming towards the beach and I notice him wince.

Namjoon's POV

I hear Jimin call me saying that we are getting lunch and I go to head to shore and notice that my body aches and that I have a slight headache starting to form. I get to shore at the same time as the other five and we all notice Yoongi has fallen asleep in his chair. I walk over and shake him awake.

"Hyung, wake up we are going to get lunch." I say hearing that my own voice sounds a little off.

"Huh, okay okay." Yoongi responds while shaking his hand in the air telling us to leave him be. We pack up the car and try to decide where to get lunch, we have a hard time deciding so we end up going home to showere and everything and Jin will make us lunch and we will just relax and watch movies the rest of the day. I am getting ready to shower and I notice how my skin is bright red and my headache is worse causing me to feel sick. I shower and put shorts and a tank top on, I lazily make my way down stairs just about running into Hoseok.

"Oh Joonie, I was just about to call you lunch is... What happened to your skin." He asks quite loudly when finally looking at me causing everyone to come running out of the kitchen.

"What is going on, oh my Namjoon what happened?" Jin asks and I just look down.

"I got sunburned and I feel sick." I tell everyone and they all look at me.

"Namjoon how much water have you had to drink today?" Yoongi asks, I just shrug and mumble, not wanting to tell them.

"What was that hyung?" Jimin says and I sigh.

"None." I answer louder this time. Everyone looks at me shocked.
"That's why you feel sick, you have heat exhaustion." Jin tells me and then pulls me into the kitchen, "lets get some food and water in you so you can rest and you will be fine." With that we sat down and at lunch and we all drank lots of water, spending the rest of the day bickering about what movies to watch. I realized really fast how Hoseok may obsess on the whole sunscreen thing and Jin stresses on the idea of almost acting like our mom, but if it weren't for that today, i would have gotten really sick so I am very thankful for the people around me. And Jin can not deny anymore he is the mother of the group.

"Eomma Jin?" I say and I hear an audible groan from the other couch and the others laugh and I know we are alright.
