22. Jimin: Why This Again?

Yoongi's POV

"5,6,7,8 bum, bum, pop, bum, bum." that's what we heard as Hoseok is teaching us some choreography for ON. I am standing in the background watching already getting exhausted without doing anything. I see all the other members trying the moves and then I see Jimin wince as if he was in pain. I stare at him for a second before being bumped into by Namjoon.

"Oh sorry Yoongi hyung." He says and I just wave him off and he goes back to practicing and my eyes make their way to Jimin's direction again and I notice he just seems off, he isn't really talking, his dancing is slow and he isn't really helping Hoseok teach. It seems like he isn't picking up on the dance moves.

"Yoongi hyung, do you need help?" I hear Hoseok ask snapping me back and I turn to him.

"Uh yes please." I stutter out.

"Yoongi hyung are you alright?" Hoseok asks and I nod.'
"I am fine, please show me the dance." I tell him hoping it will distract my brain from what's wrong with Jimin. He nods and starts showing me adding in the counts but also the music's sound so I know where I am kind of at. I follow his lead and we keep doing that for about 15 minutes and Jimin's pain has slipped my mind and now Hoseok wants us to run in on counts twice and then to the music. We get in our spots and I am dancing to Hoseok's counting and we seem to be doing well and we do it the two times with a few recurring mistakes so Hoseok takes a little time to fix them and then we start running it with music. I am watching as we are running through the mistakes and I see Jimin's pained expression showing more and more with each move he makes. I try to shake it from my brain and work through my mistakes. We start running it to the music and it seems to be going well, of course there are some mistakes which are expected but everything else seems to be going well. We have run it three times to the music stopping between runs to fix some little things and I see Jimin getting pale which is starting to worry me, but he would tell us if somethings wrong, right? We are doing our fourth run to music when right in the middle of the song Jimin stops dead in his tracks and just crumples to the floor. He is pale and breathing heavily but still conscious, he has tears running down his face. The music has stopped and we have all rushed to his aid, Hoseok being the first to reach him.

Hoseok's POV

I think we are making good progress on the choreography, and of course I know it's only the first day but they others are doing so well. I am running the dance to the music for the fourth time when I suddenly see Jimin standing in place as I go to ask him why, he crumples to the floor in tears and heavy breathing. I reach him first as Taehyung shuts the music off, I scoop him into me and shush him. I notice he is pale, really sweaty and super tense.

"Jimin whats wrong?" Jin asks and Jimin just continues to cry, nothing I anyone is doing is consoling the petite boy. I go to ask him again what's wrong when I feel his muscles contracting under my hand. I sigh knowing immediately what's going on.

"Someone get me some ice, I also need the heating pads, water and some of the pain tablets." I say and everyone looks confused but disperses to get the items. I see Yoongi still standing there, I pull a mat over and then turn to Yoongi.

"Hyung can you go in my bag and there are two sweatshirts will you bring them to me please?" I ask and he nods, grabbing them I move Jimin a little as he hands them to me. I fold them into a nice cushion and lay it on the mat. "Now can you help me move Jimin onto the mat carefully?" I say and he nods. As we slowly shift Jimin so he is laying on the mat Everyone starts to flood back in.

"Hobi hyung, what's going on with Jimin hyung?" Jungkook asks in concern and I sigh.

"He is having those muscle spasms and pains in his shoulders and back again, the only reason I know that is because when I first took him into my arms he was tense, but then I felt the muscles start to spasm." I tell them and they all nod. Jungkook helps me sit Jimin up slightly so we can give him some medicine to help with the pain, and then we put ice on it and lay him down.

Jimin's POV

I am laying on the mat and Jungkook goes to switch the ice packs out for heating pads and I gasp as I feel the warmth, but relax when I feel how it is helping my muscles.

"Jiminie, we are going to go home now so you can relax in your bed and so we do better at helping you feel better." Yoongi says and I nod still not saying a word. I am helped to my feet by Hoseok and Yoongi and they walk by my side in case the pain becomes crippling again. I should have told someone it was happening again, but I figured I had dealt with it before and I was on tour and overcame it, so maybe it would just be easier to deal with this time. I was wrong, It hurt worse and pushing through it was something I tried to do, until I ended up collapsing in pain. I am now in the car waiting for us to get home and I feel the muscles start to spasm again and I hear myself start whimpering from the pain. I grab the hand of the person next to me and just squeeze it until the muscles relax and I look to see Taehyung now cradling his hand to his chest.

"I am sorry Tae I didn't mean to hurt you." I begin to apologize and he waves me off.

"Don't worry, it only hurt a little, I think you just startled me really bad when you grabbed it suddenly." He explains and I nod and feel the muscles start to spasm again and I whimper causing Taehyung to put his hand in mine this time and I squeezed it again and He just huffs a little.

"Jiminie that's not good, your muscles are spasming a lot in a little amount of time." Namjoon says and I nod and lie back a little hoping that we get back to the dorm soon. I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until I am woke up by a little bit of noise and I feel myself being carried. I look up to see Jungkook's face.

"Jimin hyung, try and go back to sleep, we are home and as soon as we get pajamas on you and you in bed, we are going to try heating pads again." He tells me and I nod. I change into my pajamas and Jungkook helps me get comfortable on my bed and they bring heating pads in. I am drifting off to sleep and hoping that the pains will subside soon.
