"He ran through a red light and got hit . . ." I said slowly. "I saw it all happen . . ."

I felt another wave of tears run down my face.

"What street?!"

"42 and 69th street . . ."

"I'll be right there."

I hung up and fell to the floor as the ambulance arrived.

When Michael got to where Luke was, I saw Stephanie in the back seat.

Stephanie had tears running down her face.

I jumped into the passenger seat.

"Shhh . . . Talia, It's gonna be okay." Michael caressed my hair.

I watched as the got Luke'd unconsious body out of the car, and put him in the ambulance.

"F-Follow the ambulance," I sniffled.

Michael put the car in drive and followed the ambulance to Memorial Hospital.

We parked the car and walked in.

"Luke Hemmings, please." Michael looked at the receptionist.

"There's no Luke Hemmings here. We have some unidentified patients at the moment. Would you like to explain Luke's case?"

"He got in a car crash a few minutes ago. Just arrived in an ambulance."

"Ah, thank you. I'll put that as his name. There's no visitors allowed at the moment, Luke is in critical condition, on life support at the moment," She said looking at us all with sad eyes.

I couldn't say anything.

"I . . .Luke . . ." I fell to the floor in tears.

It's all my fault . . . I chased him . . . What if he dies?

"It's my fault . . ." Stephanie spoke up.

"No It's not, Stephanie." Michael challenged her.

"I had to bully him in middle school and high school . . . He wouldn't have gotten in that car if it wasn't for me . . ."

"LUKE HEMMINGS?!" A man yelled.

I looked up.

"Are you here to see Luke Hemmings?"

I nodded my head.

"You can go in and see him. He is awake, but don't do anything to hurt him, or scare him."

I nodded quickly and walked into Luke's hospital room.

I walked in and saw Luke laying on the bed, bloody and battered, eyes barely open.

"Luke . . ."

"Who are you?"

"Oh no..."
