Later that night after Lynley's body had been taken away The Doctor took us all back into the pub where Shakespeare was staying as well and thought it would be good to stay there as well. We were all gathered in Shakespeare's room whilst he sat at his desk looking through some of his work whilst the rest of us just stood around.
"I got you a room, Sir Doctor. You and Miss Jones are just across the landing. Miss Maidstone you and Mister Elderton are in the room next door." The barmaid told us
"Thank you." I smiled at her as she left the room
"Poor Lynley. So many strange events. Not least of all, this land of Freedonia where a woman can be a doctor?" Shakespeare vents before turning to Martha and I, commenting on the acts that we both did to try and save Lynley's life
"Where a woman can do what she likes." Martha informs him
"And you, Sir Doctor. How can a man so young have eyes so old?"
"I do a lot of reading."
"A trite reply. Yeah, that's what I'd do. And you? You look at him like you're surprised he exists. He's as much of a puzzle to you as he is to me." Shakespeare says to Martha
"I think we should say goodnight." Martha leaves.
"I must work. I have a play to complete. But I'll get my answers tomorrow, Doctor, and I'll discover more about you and why this constant performance of yours."
"All the world's a stage." I say quoting one of his later plays that hasn't been released yet
"Hmm. I might use that. Goodnight, Doctor, Aria, Will." Shakespeare says as he turns to us.
"Nighty night, Shakespeare." The Doctor says as we all leave the room and walk across the hall to our allocated bedrooms, Will walks inside our room whereas I turn to The Doctor
"You don't happen to have any kind of dental care thing with you do you? My breath is going to be rancid in the morning." I joke as The Doctor pulls out two toothbrushes which I take from him,"Contains Venusian spearmint." He tells me
"Thank you, good night Doctor." I smile
"Good night Aria." He replies as we both go into our separate rooms for the night, I see Will already lying on the bed looking up at the ceiling
"Catch." I say as I throw him one of the toothbrushes to him
"The Doctor says it contain Venusian spearmint, so you just brush your teeth straight away." I Tell Will and he nods his head, I then use the toothbrush myself for a couple of minutes before placing it on the bedside table that was on my side of the double bed."Aria?" Will speaks as he turns to face me
"Yeah?" I reply as I turn to face him
"How long do you think you will do this travelling for with The Doctor?" He asked me
"I've never thought about it really I guess until he doesn't want me too until something bad happens I guess." I tell Will honestly,
"You never thought about settling down or anything?" Will asks me and I shook my head
"Not really, I mean I'm only nineteen my life is just starting, are you thinking about stopping?" I asked Will and he shrugged his shoulders at me
"I don't think I can do this forever, I mean it's great and I know how privileged I am to be able to experience something like this I just think that I also want a normal life back home where I can get married and have kids." He told me
"I want that too just not yet, get some sleep Will." I say as I lean my head on his chest and the two of us drift off to sleep together for a couple of hours. I don't know how long Will and I were sleeping for exactly but I was suddenly woken up by blood curdling scream, Will and I both rushed out of our room and instead went into Shakespeare room where The Doctor and Martha were walking in just as Shakespeare wakes up.
