While we were walking I noticed a handy manhole cover that is shedding some light.
"We're way beyond half a mile. There's no collapse, nothing." Solomon says as we all continue to walk
"That Diagoras bloke, was he lying?" Martha asks
"Looks like it." I say
"So why'd he want people to come down here?" Frank asks
"Solomon, I think it's time you took these three back. I'll be much quicker on my own." The Doctor says as he looks at Martha, Frank and myself,
"I'm not leaving you on your own." I say to him just ask I head pig squeals echo around us all
"What the hell was that?" Solomon asks
"Hello?" Frank calls out loudly
"Shush." Martha says to him
"Frank." Solomon tries to warn Frank as he goes ahead of us all and walks further
"What if it's one of the folk gone missing? You'd be scared and half mad down here on your own."
"Do you think they're still alive?" I ask
"Heck, we ain't seen no bodies down here. Maybe they just got lost." Frank tells me as more squeals can be heard from around us
"I know I never heard nobody make a sound like that."
"Where's it coming from? Sounds like there's more than one of them."
"This way." The Doctor points his torch down a separate tunnel
"No, that way." Solomon's torch lights up a figure crouched in a corner.
"Doctor?" Martha says in slight fear
"Who are you?" Solomon asks the figure
"Are you lost? Can you understand me? I've been thinking about folk lost down—"
"It's all right, Frank. Just stay back." I say as I walk past the boy and I head towards the crouching figure
"Aria." The Doctor warns me but I ignore him
"Let me have a look. He's got a point, though, my mate Frank. I'd hate to be stuck down here on my own. We know the way out. Daylight. If you come with us—" I ramble but suddenly the head turns to face me and I jump slightly from the shock as I see that the man is a pig.
"Oh, but what are you?" I ask
"Is that, er, some kind of carnival mask?" Solomon asks
"No, it's real. I'm sorry. Now listen to me. I promise I can help. Who did this to you?" I ask
"Aria? I think you'd better get back here." Martha calls out to me just as more pigmen have entered the tunnel.
"Aria!"
"Actually, good point." I say as I return to the group.
"They're following you."
"Yeah, I noticed that, thanks." I say as I walk backwards still facing the creatures
"Well then, Martha, Frank, Solomon, Doctor."
"What?" Martha asks me
"Eh? Er, basically, run!" I shout in panic as the pigmen chase us back to a junction.
"Where are we going?!" Martha calls out
"This way!" The Doctor replies loudly as he spots something down a side passage.
"It's a ladder! Come on!" The Doctor uses the sonic screwdriver to open the cover at the top. Frank grabs an iron T bar to ward off the pigmen as Martha climbs up.
