The wedding was nine weeks away and time was just flying by for me and I was hating it, I couldn't get my head around the fact that only short time ago I had seven months left with The Doctor and now, I only have nine weeks. Things in the TARDIS were a little uncomfortable and awkward to say the least, Will was there to ground me when I got too excited about travelling he was constantly reminding me that I needed to make the most of my time in here because soon enough it was all going to be over and of course he was right because seven months had shortened to nine weeks in what felt like to me— a matter of days.
The Doctor had decided to take the three of us to some intergalactic spa which I was actually excited for because I was really wanting to relax and be pampered for a few hours without having to worry about anything big or unnecessary. I was currently lying on a white deck chair in a white robe with a phone in my hand because The Doctor was calling me.
"I said, no." I told The Doctor seriously
'Sapphire waterfall. It's a waterfall made of sapphires. This enormous jewel, the size of a glacier reaches the Cliffs of Oblivion, and then shatters into sapphires at the edge. They fall a hundred thousand feet into a crystal ravine.' The Doctor explains the scene in great detail as he tries to tempt me on the journey with him and Will,
"I bet you say that to all the girls." I joke
'Oh, come on. They're boarding now. It's no fun if I see it on me own. Four hours, that's all it takes.' The Doctor complains
"No, that's four hours there and four hours back. That's like a school trip. I'd rather go sunbathing." I tell him
'You be careful, that's Xtonic sunlight.'
"Oh, I'm safe. It says in the brochure this glass is fifteen feet thick." I tell The Doctor with a small smile as read the brochure quickly
'All right, I give up. We'll be back for dinner. We'll try that anti-gravity restaurant. With bibs.' The Doctor tells me
"That's a date. Well, not a date. Oh, you know what I mean. Oh, get off." I huff,
'See you later.' The Doctor says to me
"Oi, and you both be careful, all right?" I say with authority to The Doctor.
'Nah. Taking a big space truck with a bunch of strangers across a diamond planet called Midnight? What could possibly go wrong?' He says and I could just tell he was smiling down the other end before he hangs the phone up. When The Doctor did hang up the phone I couldn't stop thinking about the trip and how enticing it sounded— soon enough I had managed to convince myself to join him and Will on the trip so I quickly rushed back to the TARDIS where I changed out my sun lounging clothes and into some proper clothes in a hurry.
When I quickly changed I rushed out of the TARDIS and I followed all the signs that were leading to the shuttle, I quickly ran up the steps and I burst through the door where I saw The Doctor sitting in a seat on his own and I saw Will sitting by a teenage boy who looked as if he didn't want to be there at all.
