The room was quiet as they entered making it more awkward. Jisung slipped into the last remaining chair which left Ah ro in the middle of the room to fend for herself.
"Hi." Ah ro mumbled, smiling slightly to ease the tension. Luckily for her, Hana just entered, so at least she wasn't alone.
"Let's see what we should do. Doyoung can you tell us the options?" Taeyong's voice cut through the thick silence.
"Erm," Doyoung cleared his throat and straightened his back before starting. "Option one, give them a little burn on their backs. Or option two, lock them up in the cellar." Ah ro's lips parted as she forced in a small breath. Her eyes wide and heart beating. erratically. The silence that followed was almost taunting which made Ah ro want to run out of the room.
The room burst into loud laughter. Hana and Ah ro began to look around at everyone as they laughed at them.
"We're joking." Taeyong said after he calmed down. "Why don't you guys sit down."
"That's not funny." Ah ro whispered, lowly as she followed Hana. They plopped down on the fireplace's mantle waiting for the real show to start.
"Well, you guys are lucky Taeil wasn't here or else things would be different." Taeyong explained. "You're still in trouble but we're going to keep this a secret from Taeil and Sola." Ah ro nodded thankfully.
"How are you punishing us then?" Hana asked.
"Do you regret if?" Ah ro rapidly nodded saying yes. Hana copies her actions.
"Well then whatever. Just don't do it again, alone at least. Next time, take Jeno and Jisung with you guys. Okay?"
"Wait what? That's it? That's all? Wow, I was scared for nothing." Ah ro said standing up with a huge smile. Ten turned around in his chair and sent her a cold glare, making the young girl falter in step and fall back down onto the mantle.
"What she means is thank you." Hana covered, sliding closer to Ah ro. Ah ro felt Hana pinch her side subtly.
The boys began to leave the room leaving the two pairs of soulmates. Hana broke the silence first.
"Damn that wasn't bad. I mean what do you expect when our authority is a gang." Hana joked walking up to Jeno.
Jeno steppes away from Hana. Sure they weren't in trouble with the gang itself, but Jeno and Jisung were another story.
"You guys seriously could have gotten yourself in deep shit. Mostly now that you're known as our soulmates." Jeno spoke angrily. He couldn't fathom the anguish he felt last night, it left him feeling even angrier that he couldn't express how worried it made him. Jisung didn't think it was that much of a big deal, he just didn't want other guys around them, but Jeno was always an over thinker.
Jisung walked towards Ah ro as Jeno and Hana began to argue trying to explain and justify their sides.
"Want to leave?" He asked.
Ah ro followed Jisung back to his room. It looked different than the last time she was in it. It was messier and looked darker.
"Nice pigsty." Ah ro made her way over to the bed. She laid down and waited for his snarky remark.
"If it is a pigsty then get off my bed." Jisung began walking towards her. Stepping over the piles of closes and wrappers discarded on the floor.
The remote control car that he received from Mark was near the bed, but Jisung was too adamant on annoying Ah ro to notice that it was right under him. Jisung stepped onto it sending the car flying back making the boy fall forward.
Ah ro, whose eyes were closed in her attempt to soothe her headache, gasped as a heavy figure fell directly on top of her. Her eyes fluttering open as the air was knocked out of her. Jisung's head came crashing down, his nose hitting Ah ro's cheek.
Jisung looked down in astonishment and Ah ro looked up just as surprised. The girl froze as their eyes met. Their noses and lips inches apart. Jisung's hair tickled Ah ro's forehead as he breathed heavily. Ah ro gripped the bed sheet between her fingers. Jisung felt lost in her amber eyes, it was as if they were speaking to him and telling him to come closer. He was using his arms to hold himself up so he wasn't crushing the girl's small frame as he hovered above her.
He moved closer his eyes locking with her pink lips. Ah ro's eyes squeezed shut, her heart palpitating in her chest. Her mind was racing.
Could he hear her rapidly beating heart, she wondered. Jisung was feeing no different. Sure he had kissed other girls before, but this felt different.
Their lips brushed, softly against each other.
"Ah ro!" Jisung shot up rolling off Ah ro. He cursed as he brushed his hair out of his face. Hana burst through the door not understanding the situation as she walked up to her friend.
"I'm so mad at Jeno!" Hana announced. Jisung rolled his eyes and rushed out the door.
