Wrapping her arms around herself, Ah ro stepped onto the sand. She really loved her outfit at the mall, but wearing it out in public she felt embarrassed and exposed. Flicking her curled hair out of her face, she turned to Hana with a pout.
"Ah ro I know what you're thinking. So STOP! You look great okay, it's okay to show off your goods sometimes." Hana remarked suggestively, wriggling her eyebrows. Ah ro glared at her and turned to Sola who just laughed and shook her head.
"You look cute Ro don't worry." Talking a deep breath she smoothed out her skirt and walked towards the pavilion in the middle of the beach. There seemed to be like 100 people there, Ah ro thought it would be a small gathering. The music could be heard from miles away.
"Okay remember the rules guys, no drinking!" Sola said turning to Hana and Ah ro who nodded in return. The got closer to the dancing crowd, and awkwardly stood not knowing what to do, suddenly Ah ro felt a hand snake around her hips, turning her around.
"Hey! You guys made it." It was Bobby. Ah ro blushed at their proximity and broke free from his grip, laughing nervously.
"Yup."
"Come on, I'll get you guys drinks." Sola rejected his offer and followed Jihyo who had already left for the dance floor.
Hana excitedly followed the boy towards the back where a bar was set up.
"What do you guys want to drink?" Bobby yelled over the loud music leaning in closer to them as he did.
"Co-"
"Do you have beer?" Hana yelled back making Ah ro's eyes widen. They both promised not to drink because last time didn't go too well and plus they were underage. Hana shrugged as Bobby handed her the bottle, she disappeared into the dance floor herself. Ah ro asked for a coke, she thanked him but walked away to find a place to sit.
Sure Bobby was cute, and she could tell he was interested in her but it felt wrong. She wasn't sure what exactly Jisung and her relationship was together other than the soulmate thing, but still if felt wrong. Thinking of Jisung, her pink lips drew into a small pout.
"What an idiot!" She remarked shaking her head.
"Who me?" Ah ro was startled by Bobby's voice.
"Oh shoot, I didn't see you over there." Bobby smiled, even his crooked teeth were charming.
"You seem to have a lot on your mind." Bobby remarked as he leaned back into the plastic beach chair, the wind blowing at his blonde highlighted hair. Ah ro took the time to look at him. Almost drooling at the sight of him. His buttoned shirt was only buttoned half way revealing his toned chest and the half sleeves showing off his arms. The boy was unnecessarily good looking.
"Ah ro?" He called again when she didn't reply to him.
"Oh, yeah. I guess you can say I do."
"Care to share?" Ah ro shook her head not wanting to ruin the party mood over a boy she wasn't sure was worth her time. She wanted to let lose and forget about him. That was the whole point of today anyway.
