Ah ro finally understood what it felt like to be on the other side. The outside. Her body itching with nerves as her legs bounced. Looking to her left , she pouted as Taeil's pale face came to view. Ah ro reached over and placed her hand over his, squeezing it reassuringly.
"I'm sure everything it okay." Her voice was hopeful. Taeil managed to nod as his eyes squeezed shut. Probably praying silent prayers. It was funny how even the most sinful turned towards God when they were at crossroads.
"I could have caught her, I was right there." Ah ro glanced over at Jihyo. The usual badass of the group looked frazzled. Mark sat beside her rubbing her back.
The hospital hallway was so different from the hospital rooms. When Ah ro was hurt and stayed at the hospital she was almost numb. She didn't have many thoughts, but in the waiting room she was ambushed by a whirlwind of feelings.
The silent room was filled with loud footsteps. Everyone in the room turned to look at Taeyong who seemed to have come here as fast as he could.
"What happened?" He asked immediately, not waiting to catch his breath.
"Uh, the elevator in our apartment was broken." Jihyo sniffled. "So we took the stairs to go down, but Sola unnie suddenly got dizzy. Before I could even catch, she rolled down a flight of stairs and fainted."
"Is she unresponsive?" Taeyong asked quietly as he inched closer to Jihyo. Wanting to get the details without making Taeil feel worse.
When Mark called them, he interrupted their fight. Ah ro was thankful for that. She was scared of what she would have said. She knew things would have been worse if she had finished. As soon as Mark said Sola was in the hospital, they had rushed over forgetting they were even fighting.
Ah ro looked eyes with Jisung for a split second, before looking away. Turning her attention to Taeil. She wanted to be their for him and be comforting; like he was for her.

"Who are the guardians of Ms. Sola?"
Taeil sprung to his feet, sauntering over to the doctor. His heart seemed to be frozen as he waited for the update.
"Ms. Sola is fine. She got a little jolt to her head, and her back might be a little sore for a couple days. I'll prescribe a paracetamol."
"A paracetamol?" Taeil knew what a paracetamol was, but he didn't know why Sola would use one.
"That brings me to the next thing." The doctor's stoic face, morphed into one of happiness. It was slightly scary to see, but it brought relief to everyone.
"Who is Ms. Sola's husband?"
Taeil gestured to himself, "Boyfriend." He corrected.
"Well Sir, congratulations! Your girlfriend is pregnant. And no harm was done to the baby despite the fall."
