The burning sensation never left even as she slipped in and out of consciousness, unaware of the many eyes and concerned people standing around her. Although she was sleeping, the violent occurrence played itself on repeat in her head. It was almost as if, she was reliving everything. The fear, the anguish, the pain.
Whenever her mind used to drift to Jisung, her stomach would fill with butterflies, but in her dream the thought of him repulsed her. She felt his cold fingers driving into her neck, and this time she gave out.
Sola was quick to wipe her tears as she noticed Ah ro stir on the bed. Her fragile body littered with bruises, Sola felt broken. She couldn't protect Ah ro. Not even from her own soulmate. Gently brushing off the sweat beads formed on Ah ro's forehead, she squeezed Taeil's hand.
Ah ro was waking up.
After saving her from Jisung, they brought her back home and let the medic team tend to her. Luckily they got to her just at the nick of time, but the fact that they had to save her from Jisung was the most painful.
The were angry and guilty all at the same time, all of them except Taeil. Taeil was livid. The man rarely got mad. Lately he was a short fuse and seeing his soulmate in so much pain and Ah ro nearly die, he made a quick decision.

Thirty minutes later, Ah ro finally woke up. Her eyes shooting open, as she forced herself to sit up. The last thing on her mind was Minghao's warning. She didn't trust him. He saved her life during the building crash, so she could trust his instinct, but not him.
If what he was true, then they would be getting attacked tonight. Pushing past the hands of Sola, who was trying to hold her down, Ah ro looked out at the setting sun.
"We" Ah ro gasped inaudibly. Her voice, it was gone. She was merely croaking. Panicking she grabbed Sola's hands.
"We- have to- we have to go." Ah ro croaked.
"Is it what Minghao said?" Jaemin asked. He heard everything when he hacked the surveillance cameras. He watched the fight go down and heard the exchange.
