I've been in the car for 20 minutes before I decided to go back in and make this right. I went and knocked on the door and this time Malaysia came to it.
"Hey Uncle Mikah." She said
"Where yo mama?"
"She by the pool. You okay? Your nose red." She said
"Yeah I'm straight."
I walked through the house and out the back. Kamiya was laying there with Cameron beside her. Cam noticed me and said something to Kamiya before leaving her side. He walked over to me.
"She not mad at you." He said before walking through the back door. I went and sat where Cam was sitting. She looked up at me then back down at her phone.
"I'm sorry." I said
"Hmmm."
"Ma I'm for real I'm sorry. I don't want you mad at me." I said
"I'm not mad I just-... I didn't expect for y'all to turn out like this. You cheated on her. Your wife. The mother of your children. The women you've been with since you were 16. If you'll do something like that to Jamila then you can't be trusted in my eyes."
"Miya I know what I did to Jamila was wrong but I can't fix it. I can't just repair our marriage when I don't want to be in it." I said
"You should have ended it right. If you weren't happy you should have talked to her. It should have been a mutual agreement. You shouldn't have stepped out of your marriage and then ended it."
"I wasn't happy."
"So go be happy." She said
"I can't be happy with you mad at me like this."
"Well you might as well get used to being unhappy."
"Ma come on." I said
"Mikah I'm sorry but I can't trust you. You're over here trying to be on my good side when you should be at Jamilas house trying to get on her good side. She's the mother of your children and If y'all are going to co parent you need to get right."
"I don't know how to do that ma. You know she not gone talk to me. That's why I need you to help me."
"You made this mess so you clean it." She said sitting up. "I can't help you anymore. Imagine how she's feeling about this. She not gone just get over this and move on like you."
"She will later on."
"Mikah just go home to your girlfriend and be happy. I'm over this conversation honestly." She said getting up about to walk away.
"If I make things right with Jamila are we gone be good?" I asked
"Right as in what?"
"If me and her come to an agreement with the kids and I make things right with her."
