"I shouldn't even be here with yo ass." I told Gina as I got out her bed
"Boy shut up. A little stab ain't hurt that girl." She said
"The only reason you even did that shit was because she been beat yo ass."
"Get out my house." She said
I shrugged and walked out. I know I shouldn't even be around this hoe but here I am. Since it was Thursday I drove to the graveyard. I walked up to her grave and sat.
"Wassup Laysia. I ain't mean to miss last Thursday but ya bro was sick. Mama doing okay she stressed trying to find who killed you. Dad working on it everyday. Latrell ass still doing good. I'm surprised the lil nigga ain't messed up but I know you always on his mind so he gone do right just for you." I slid back and look up at the sky knowing she was looking down at me. "I'm sorry for that dumb shit I said. I don't really know how to deal with this. I would rather it be me than you. You had so much life ahead of you."
I heard footsteps and look over to see Marcus walking over with Chic fil a. He sat next to me and passed me a bag.
"I been thinking about you a lot lately Laysia. Life been so depressing since you been gone and it's no way to deal with it. People always say it'll get better but it's not. It almost Christmas and it's another holiday we gotta celebrate without you." I watched him wipe his tears and just stared at her grave. I never thought we would be here. In a graveyard talking to our baby sister.
I pulled out my gun as I heard something move behind us. When I saw that it was nothing I looked around before putting it away.
"I gotta get back to work but I love you." Marcus said before standing and walking away. I decided to stay for a while. I missed her.

"We just went to breakfast." He said
"So you shouldn't be hungry." I said
"Ima remember that."
"I hope you do." He started to drive again and we were on our way to the basketball court. Him and his friend were playing today and he dragged me along.
"You sure you wanna go?" He asked as we pulled into the parking lot.
"Jalen we 45 minutes from my house and you just no asking me if I wanna go?"
"I mean we already here so." He said before turning off the car and taking his shirt off.
"Uhhh what you doing?"
"We skins."
"Ima skin you if you don't put your shirt back on." I said
"Bae you don't even gotta do all that. The only person Ima be watching for is you."
