Kamiya

While we were packing Lori, Marcus and Anthony came and helped. We loaded up the cars and drove to Jamila house.

I went and knocked on the door and got no answer. I used my spare key and walked in.

"JAMILA!"

"Yeah!" I heard from upstairs. I went upstairs and to the room that had the door opened. I saw that she was packing suitcases.

"Where y'all been? Why y'all avoiding me?" I asked

"We weren't avoiding you. We just didn't want to stress you out more." She said

"I heard that but still. Is she okay?" I asked

"No. She has cancer Kamiya." She said

"I know that but is she ok-"

"Stop talking about it. Don't we have to leave?" She said

"....Yeah. What do you want me to grab?"

"Just those suitcases. Mikah is meeting us at the jet." She said

I grabbed the suitcases and we walked out the house. They loaded up in the car with Anthony and we all drove to the location.

"Does your dad know?" I asked Cameron

"Yeah. He's meeting us there." He said

"So... are we gone be able to finish school?" Jalen asked

"Yes but it'll either have to be online or you go to a school in the area." I said

"How long will we be gone?" Lori asked

"Until we can clear all this up." Cameron said

"So a while?" Lori asked

"Yeah." Cam said

Malaysia

I was all the way in the back with Latrell and it felt awkward. I looked out the window to avoid eye contact but he tapped my leg making me turn to him.

"Do you remember me?" He asked softly

"Yes, I didn't really lose my memory." I said

"Oh, so why you won't talk to me?" He asked

"I'm still trying adjust to everything." I said

"I can help you."

"It's okay. My mom and sister will." I said

"Malaysia I've changed for real this time. I straightened up my life. I got a job and my grades are getting better. I've been touring colleges too." He said

"That's good for you Latrell. I'm happy you changed." I said

"So are we still together? I still been calling you my girl." He said

"I just need time to think right now. Especially with all this going on." I said

"I understand. I just want you to know that I'm gone always be here for you. Together or not." He said

"Thank you." I said

Cameron

We arrived at the jet and saw Mikah standing with his little girlfriend. As we were getting out of the trucks I spotted something out of the corner of my eye. I looked over and saw someone in all black hiding behind the bushes.

"Fuck."

"HANDS UP!" "ON THE GROUND NOW!"

"No." I heard Kamiya say
