Me and Lori had just gotten the list of the jury that would be on my parents, grandfather and uncles trial.

"How the fuck did he get all this?" Lori asked me

"He knows a lot of people and can get stuff done." I said

"So what are we going to do?" She asked

"We just have to find a way to make at least half of them vote for a not guilty verdict." I said

"How we gone do that?" She asked

"That's where Keisha and Gio come in. He's been doing this type of stuff before either of us were born." I said

"I have to leave for a couple of hours tomorrow." She said

"Where you going?" I asked

"My siblings are in town and they want to see me." She said rolling her eyes

"You not happy to see your siblings?"

"You know I don't fuck with them like that. They always act like their better than me. Like niggas we grew up in the same fucking household. They just old as fuck." She said

"Isn't the oldest like 28?"

"Bitch still old. You know Sierra told me that I was a spoiled bitch that ain't have to work for nothing?" She said

"You just turned 18." I said

"Exactly! She act like she was forced to get a job at a young age or something. And then Pete is 25 and still act like a child but have the audacity to talk about me." She said

"You told your parents about it?"

"No they don't care. I haven't see them for the past 2 months. Since I turned 18 they act like they don't have to be parents anymore." She said

"Have they called?" I asked

"Yeah they both call once a week but it's not the same. Like I miss my parents and I want us to be a happy family but it's like nobody care but me." She said

I stayed quiet because I noticed her start to blink more and more. I pulled her into a hug and she cried on my shoulder.

"If you sit and talk with them about it I'm sure they'll understand where you're coming from." I said

"I hope so because I don't like it being like this. I live by myself with no family around. I mean I have you and your family but I don't feel like I have a family of my own." She

"Well we will always be your family. You know you basically a Price." I said

"Girl basically." She said smiling

"Okay ladies it's late so how about we start again tomorrow. We're going to have to start early because we will need to find these jurors so convince them in a reasonable way." Gio said

"What if they don't want to?" Lori asked

"Then we make them want to." He said

"Heard." Lori said

We got into her car and drove into the direction of my home.

"How's things between you and Jalen?" She asked

"I guess their okay. I mean he's staying with us and I barley see him." I said

"Well it's only 10 so y'all can be boo'd up and watch a movie." She said

"We could or I could just take a shower and go to bed." I said

"Do you not want to be with him anymore?" She asked
