Listen to Someone Like You by Adele for this one. Mandatory😑

She turned.
She saw it.

He yelled.
But time wanted it.

She couldn't breathe.
He could not speak.

Her legs shook as the
Brakes were beat.

He grabbed the wheel,
He turned them left.

But the side of the bridge was where they were headed.

She turned right.
She gripped hard.

But her heart was not playing its part.

He screamed.
They hit a wall.
The luxury car was
Not the loss.

The metal transitioned into a new shape
The world was yet to press play.
Slow motion.
That was what he saw.
The tearing of material
From the car.

He looked at his love.
The reason of life.
She was in pain and
Couldn't breathe right.

He wrapped his arms around her.
It was the last second.
She was weaker,
She drew no breath.

They shut their eyes
And braced for impact.
This would be the breath.
Last.

Is the grass greener on the other side?

Or is the ocean dark once the land  has died.

All they felt was the heat.

The heat of the moment.
The heat of their love.
The heat of the hell
That they were forced to live on.

It didn't matter in the last second.
It didn't matter to them.
It only mattered what
They had done before then.

The truth was out.
The brave were released.
The love was brought together.
They were okay.

Life flashed before their eyes.

And it was the Future.
