Keia was the middle of the woods far, far off from the city. It was in these same woods where she had previously attempted to give her worn body a permanent rest in the lake nearby.
Keia forced herself not to look for food or drink of the lake's water for the past five days straight. She didn't feel crazy, she felt like she was still doing everyone a favour by cutting her life short.
She brought a camping bag and clean clothes as not to look suspicious to the locals who met her. Many offered her food but she declined, under the false information she had just eaten.
Among all things she had with her was her phone. One night, she received a different message other than the sound of Lyrique's and Cyrus' ringtone.
She had her voicemail on loud speaker. A youngish child was leaving her a voicemail.
