He was frozen too.
He did not move.
He was above
The red and black tomb.

He saw the speed.
But he ignored it.
He fell victim to the bad guy
Before him.

He didn't care.
He didn't think.
He had no idea this was the brink.

The last second.

He learnt a lot.

He learnt the hurt his whip brought.

The last second.

He fell to plea.

God forgive him
For his deeds.

The last second.

He prayed for chance.
From the Lord he handed
Given a glance.

The last second.

It was his fault.
He was a madman in a money vault.

Being driven by a unlicensed nerd.

The last second.

The girl and the boy were thought to be shattered.
They were thought to be
Nothing but coverage.

The cameras kept rolling,
The machines had no shame.

Jameson wanted their inventors
To be slain.

The last second.

He went too far.

But he did not know the truth,
She did.

She watched on her phone.
As did all at the party.
The light from all the screens was
A sign of heartache.

She melted.
She tore.
She was brought
To her senses once more.

They were dead.

They were gone.

All She had wanted to do was lost.

And she had

NOTHING

to show for it.

Little did these
These..

But a beat is a beat.

And a breath is a step.

These are the things that have moulded
