A knock on your front door breaks yet another sweet kiss between you and your handsome ghost, the blonde hesitantly pulling away from your lips with a small pout plastered across his face, something you admittedly find adorable but you're far too eager to get your furniture to give into his cuteness right now.

"C'mon, I wanna know if your brothers can see you!" You call back to the boy whilst rushing to the front door, however when you open it, you see two men who you've never met before.

One very tall redheaded male wearing...Make-up?  Though, you must admit, he does rock the look. Behind him is stood a much shorter man with dark hair but he doesn't look half as buff as his partner.

Where the hell is Thatch? Or even Ace??

"You order a sofa with a set of armchairs?" The redhead being the first to speak, his eyes glowering down at you as he awaits your answer.

Well, he's kinda scary--

"Ha, Eustass Kid?" Sabo chimes in the background, his arms rested over his chest as you nervously nod your head to the large delivery man's previous question, earning a small grunt from the guy in response. "Don't worry, Petal. He's not that scary...well, kinda. He won't attack you because you're a small lady, that kinda thing will hurt his pride. If you were a guy and gave him some attitude, then he'll become pretty scary."

He knows this guy...? Of course he does, he works for the family, after all.

The two colleagues immediately begin making their way over to the large van parked in your driveway to retrieve your new furniture, what you don't notice however is how Sabo's eyes widen, the boy stiffening slightly.

"Luffy?!"

Huh?

"Your brother?" You lowly question since the guys are far away and unlikely to hear you, glancing back at Sabo and watching as he nods his head, a small smile spreading across his lips.

"Yeah, he's all grown up now! He must be in his late twenties!"

Your eyes trail back to the male with dark hair, watching as he helps Kid get the sofa out of the vehicle - he's wearing a bright smile that almost resembles Sabo's as he chats away about, what seems to be, some kind of TV series he was watching last night.

Strangely, he doesn't appear to be discomforted by this house like Ace was but lining up the dates, he would've been in his late-teenage years when the place burnt down so he should remember the events.

Perhaps it's just easier to pretend you don't recall something like that.

"Hm." Sabo rumbles in agreement, his arm wrapping around your shoulders loosely and pulling you into his side, lowly murmuring in your ear; "Fake it until you make it, that's how some people grieve...Luffy's one of them."

"Is he hurting?" You assume since Sabo can read your mind so well, surely he can do so with his own brother. The blonde tilting his head to the side thoughtfully as his eyes focus on the raven, a low and incoherent murmur leaving his lips.

The young man in question manages to haul the sofa inside seemingly effortlessly, with his partner's help, of course. These guys sure are strong.

You also don't miss how the brother's head snaps in your direction, or more accurately, Sabo's direction. But he doesn't really react much, his brows furrow for a moment before the redhead's gruff voice snatches his attention, stealing his gaze as the back of your new sofa hits the doorframe leading into your living room.

"Watch where you're going, Luffy! You tryna force this couch down my fuckin' throat or something?!"

Well, isn't he charming...

"M'yeah, Kid has always been a little short-fused, but he's good to people he cares about." Sabo informs simply, his smile fading as he buries his face into your cheek, placing a light kiss against your skin. "I thought my little brother saw me for a second there."

"Yeah, I did too." You make the mistake of talking aloud as Kid re-enters the hallway, his amber eyes locking onto you questionably for a moment before turning his gaze back to his task, making his way outside to retrieve the armchairs but not without muttering a quiet "Weirdo." under his breath, whether he was trying to go unheard or simply just didn't care if you caught that, you don't know.

But that's the least of your concerns right now.

Luffy follows the guy closely but not without sending you a glance of his own, his smile has since faded though and his brown orbs are filled with curiosity but when Sabo pulls away from your cheek, you notice his stare follow those movements, something that confuses you greatly.

What the hell?! He can see him! I'm sure of it!

You patiently wait for the youngest brother to come back, eagerly analysing his every move and silently hoping that he'll look at Sabo again to further confirm your suspicions but sadly, he does not.

He and Kid take the armchairs through for you, both staying concentrated on the job and the only sounds to leave anyone's lips is the odd grumble or swear word from the redheaded male, but nothing else.

Even Sabo hasn't made a peep, the blonde only sighing when the two finish their task and leaning himself against the wall, politely keeping out of the way despite the fact that the men would likely walk straight through him regardless.

"Thatch said you'd need this." Luffy finally speaking but it's sadly to you and not his brother, his brown orbs rested on your own as he hands you a folded pamphlet decorated with bar stools, a somewhat forced smile etching into your features as you take the slim booklet from him, offering a small word of thanks in return.

That wasn't what I was hoping for but still helpful, I guess...

But much to your excitement, his eyes then sway, his stare blatantly settling past your head and focusing on the spot in which his older brother is stood, or perhaps younger brother now since the man hasn't been able to age these past 10 years.

Finally confirming what you had thought all this time.

"Take care of him, okay?" Luffy lowly whispers, not even giving you the chance to respond as he turns back to his partner with a wide smile, his voice growing louder as he stretches his arms out above his head. "Alright, next house!"

"Yeah, yeah." The redhead irritably grumbles, clearly less enthusiastic about working than the smaller male but he still makes his way out of your house regardless, sluggishly wishing you a good day as he trails behind Luffy, the two making their way back over to their van.

Did he just tell me to--?!

"Yep, he looked right at me too!" Sabo cheerfully chimes from behind as he wraps his arms around your waist tightly, a warmth radiating from his body as he nuzzles your hair. "I wish he could have spoken to me personally but, I get it, Kid would've thought he was going crazy haha~!"

"Mmh...maybe I could get him to visit by himself one day...?"

"Heh, yeah maybe! But even if you can't, this was amazing enough~!"
