Forbidden Chasing

Prologue

"Hey, Krystal!" Avy called me.

"Krystal, 'di ba ngayon yung 1st anniversary niyo ni Kali?" my other friend, Sierre, asked about our plan of Kali today because it's our first anniversary.

We're in a mall today since it's Saturday and we got in a gym a while ago. It's our hobby so, every Saturday we're going in a gym in morning then after that we're straightly going to the mall to buy some new stuffs at eto kami ngayon kumakain sa isang kilalang restaurant dito sa loob ng mall.

When I left home, Mommy was busy baking cake since it's her favorite past time kapag wala si Daddy. Mahilig siya gumawa ng cake, kung hindi past time, para naman sa amin kapag kumakain kami ng dinner at ginagawa naming dessert.

Daddy was busy in the hospital, and his hospital is near here. Graufin's hospital is one of the most famous and rated hospital here in Manila. Si Daddy ang namamahala nito since ito ang namanang trabaho niya from my late grandparents. Ang mga ari-arian nina Lola at Lolo ay pinamana kay Daddy kaya siya na din ang namahala dito.

"Uhm... I don't know, 'diba dapat lalaki ang may surprise sa babae kapag anniversary? So, hintayin ko nalang kung meron." I answered them unsurely. Hindi ko kasi alam kung anong gagawin namin ngayon ni Kali since it's our 1st anniversary, siguro may surprise siya sa akin.

"You think isusurprise ka niya ngayon? Baka ikaw pa ang masurprise kase baka may iba ng sinusurprise yung boyfriend mo." Sierre said like she is so sure na may ibang kasama si Kali ngayon. Argh! She overthinks so much, hindi ko alam kung bakit overthinker too much 'tong kaibigan kong ito. But still, I love her. Silang dalawa lang ni Avy ang naging kaibigan ko since my high school days, well, meron naman akong mga naging kaibigan pero hindi rin nagtatagal kaya I shouldn't call them friends, tss.

"Hey, Sierre! You overthink so much, hindi naman ikaw yung girlfriend. Let Krystal decide, sila naman ng boyfriend niya may desisyon e." Avy conclude. Well, she's right, kami ni Kali magdedecide sa relasyon namin pero natural na lang din kay Sierre na mag over think, she's just protective of me.

"I only care for our friend, Avy." Sierre said.

"She can take care of her self, hindi naman siguro siya lolokohin ni Kali. Kali is a good man." Avy said directly, trying to prove Sierre that she's wrong.

"Hindi natin alam ang takbo ng utak ng mga lalake, Avy. Don't be so trusty, kaya ka niloko ng last boyfriend mo. You trust too much." Sierre said in a disgusting tone.

Tama nga naman si Sierre, kahit ga'no pa kabait, may possibility na lokohin ka ng isang lalake. So, I can't blame her na sinasabi niya 'yang mga' yan. Pinagsabihan na kasi ni Sierre si Avy sa last boyfriend niya pero hindi ito nakinig ngunit ng kaunlanan tumigil na rin ito sa last boyfriend niya. She caught on her two eyes na nagchicheat si Gabrielle sa kanya with some random girl in our school.

"Hey, stop arguing you two. Maguusap kami ni Kali mamaya, okay? Ako na ang bahala rito." I stop them both, baka kasi kung ano pa ang masabi ng dalawang 'to sa harap ko na hindi ko magustuhan.

"We're not arguing, Krystal. I am just telling you na baka sirain ni Kali iyang tiwala mo sa kanya. You know, you caught him last time with his partner in their homework eating lunch together, " she said with full disappointment.

"Sierre, understand their situation. Pareho silang pagod noong araw na 'yon dahil sa med student sila, so be understanding." I said to her with full assurance.

Well, totoo naman na sabay naglunch si Kali and Senria that time. But, later that day nagexplain naman sa'kin si Kali na pareho silang pagod that day so, I understand him. I trust him, not because we're in a relationship but it's a part of me to trust easily and be understanding to him. At siguro kung ako din naman ang nasa kalagayan ay gagawin ko din ang lahat upang maging Doctor.
