Chapter 19 - Mate?

Ash POV

I woke up from my phone alarm triggered next to me. I stretched my arm to reach it and turn it off. When I tried to move up, a body next to me hugged me tightly. I then look at her cute sleepy face snuggled more into my neck.

Ash:"Love, we need to get up, refresh and get ready for dinner" I said while trying to shake Christina up.

Christina:"Baby, another 5 minutes" she whined.

Ash:"If we don't wake up now, we going to be late and I am sure your "admirer" won't be happy seeing you late" I teased then trying to move away from her but she wrapped me harder.

Christina:"Who do you mean?" she whispered with her eyes still closed.

Ash:"Well, the rich and famous Mr. Henry Knight" I huffed saying out his name.

Christina:"You are jealous much, aren't you and is kind of cute seeing you like this" she opened her eyes and look up at me then kissed me on my neck.

Ash:"Yes I admit that I am jealous and I don't like the way he looks at you and touch you like yesterday" I said while moving away from Christina. "I hate it when someone other than me whispering at you and makes you laugh" I frown thinking of what happened yesterday between the two of them then walked into the bathroom.

I went into the shower and turned on the water and let it flow directly onto me to cool me down from the anger built inside of me since yesterday by that old man. YES, he is an old man who can be Christina's father instead he wants her to be her girlfriend and I can sense that. I am not saying this because I am jealous but the way he looked at her and talk, those gestured is how a man planning to flirt and court a girl. Christina is just being oblivious for not seeing that but I did and I am sure other did as well especially Sophia because the way she tried to reject the dinner invitation yesterday politely BUT damn, that old man is persistent. The more I think about him, the more anger starts to build up within me. Suddenly I heard the bathroom door opened and closed then a pair of arm wrapped behind me.

Christina:"Baby... Are you angry at me?" she asked while hugging me tighter from behind. "I am sorry for making you feel jealous or mad because on how I act in front of Henry. I know he flirts with me but he is consider my so called boss and paying me salary for those photo shoot, all these accommodation and flight to be here. He is giving me opportunity for being the main model for Calvin Klien now since his company had bought over that fashion co. I am just being nice and entertain him in a good way. Please don't be mad" she explained and sniffled. I turned around and looking directly into her emerald bluish eyes.

Ash:"I am sorry love. I don't mean to be mad at you and I hate it when I am actually doing that and make you sad" I said with a frown on my face. "Is just...is just I can't take it in how he act towards you; how he flirt with you and touches you even is a small gestured of rubbing your hands or your arm. I can't stand it on how he looks at you like he is devouring you with his thoughts. You are mine and I don't like to share what is mine and I hate it when you can't do anything about that which kills me deep insider; here" I pointed at my right heart.

Christina:"Baby, I am sorry.... I am so sorry how these things affect you. I will try not to be that close to him as possible and I will talk to Sophia and Abby on this so they can help me avoid him when he is around like what they do to Marcus. I know how hurt you are but please, don't push me away" she said while hugging me tightly and cried.

Ash:"Shhh, don't cry love. I don't want you to cry when you are with me. I am sorry for feeling insecure here and I do trust you just that I don't trust other people around you whom I am not closed to. I am not pushing you away, okay. I promise and please, stop crying. You look like a mess and not beautiful anymore when you cry" I teased her and gaining a slapped on my arm.
