Chapter 36 - Intensity

**T-2 before the Operation**

Ash POV

Everyone was busy preparing necessary equipment; tracking devices with mini CCTV to be patches onto to those containers and trucks going in and out of the port, communication devices and drones to monitor the sky. This equipment will be monitor and operate by Jeremy and Peter since they were familiar with it. On the tactical side, Jonathan and Anderson were getting ready everything we need from the armory; such as bullet proof vest, assault rifles, sub machine guns and their cartridges. i was still busy checking again on the blueprint on all the exit and entrance of every corner in the port. The Royal Marine will be covering the water way and the S.W.A.T Team will be storming in once my team and i were in position. 

Some will be following us while some will be aiming and shooting all enemy targets in front of us from higher ground. There will also be another team from the same station as us which is team b. they will be helping us to guard those entrance and exit which i had mark on the map and will only be distributed out on the day of operation to make sure no info will leak out. Although everything seems to be in order, I still felt uneasy and seem there might be something going wrong that day but I still couldn't figure it out. It has been a busy and hectic day especially when it got nearer to the operation date. I am aware that everyone was kind of stressed so I took everyone out for a lunch and treats them to their favorite Japanese restaurant then I ordered them to go home early and get some rest. 

The tense between Jonathan and I were still there but since we are a team, I had to let go of my personal feelings now as I need to concentrate on my work, on the team and most important on the mission. Jonathan offered to drop me home but I politely declined and told him I had to meet up with some friends. I had texted Matt and Benji earlier to hang out at the bar nearby my area. I then keep my notebook into my drawer, closed and locked it. I walked towards the door then switched off the lights and walked down towards the entrance and wave goodbye to the security guard. 

I then walked 2 blocks away and took the subway to the bar where I supposed to meet up with Matt when Benji. Once I reached the destination, I walked out from the subway towards the bar. The bar was packed with many youngsters mostly young girls. Once I stepped in, I took a corner table near the bar. I ordered a beer for myself while waiting for the guys to come. After 10 minutes, I saw Benji and Matt walked in then I stood up and signaled them.

Matt:"Hey.. Nice to see you again" he said then hugged me.

Benji:"Hey sis... What makes you to invite us to such place?" he said then hugged me. "I thought you should be busy with your big project going on?" he said.

Ash:"Frankly speaking, I am really stressed out on this project and there are something I don't feel right but can't figure it out.. So I thought inviting you guys here to hang out and relax a bit to clear my mind" I said sipping on my beer.

Matt:"Well this is the 1st time we come here ever since we kind of moved here observing and looking after you" he said.

Ash:" Well that makes 3 of us because I seldom come down such places because Christina don't like people to smoke and being here you smell like cigarettes plus are you guys aware that most of the customer here are young girls and boys. Wonder why they aren't at home at this hour and why their parents feel so safe allowing their kids to such places?" I asked looking at matt.

Matt:"I guess our generation and this generation was not the same where our parents controlled us with schedules and occupied us with activities. When it comes to current generation, everything change because I guess due to the suicidal rate, parents no longer controls their kids too strict and allowed them to have some freedom" he said sipping on his beer.

Benji:"True. The high school I am in, everyone including my best friend always go out to party till early in the morning then they skipped class then next day. It seems sex to them is something you can get easily. I bet many of my classmates have lost their virginity long time ago. Only people like us still take it as something sacred" he said smiling I then shake my head in disbelieved.

Ash:"Is kind of sad to know how the world is changing from advancing in technologies but lack of social awareness and care as how people treat people base from color of the skin and nationality. Sex is no longer something special or sacred between 2 persons like our generation previously" I said gesturing to both of them to look at the other table where a young couple is making out. 3 of us shake our head and continue our beer.

Matt:"So what is making you stressed out? Base from how long I have been monitoring over you, you are the most logical and calm person. If you say you are stressed out about something this might really means something.... Well I am just saying and maybe explaining things out to us can help you on something" he said.

Ash:"I sense something weird when I review back my plan and looking back at the map of the place where details on every exit and entrance are marked. It seems something is missing or hidden but I can't figure out what is it" I said letting out a soft sighed.

Benji:"Maybe you try to relax a bit and rest early. You will slowly figure it out tomorrow once your mind are refresh" he said.

Ash:"Maybe I really need to rest early" I said and finished up my beer same goes to Matt and Benji.

Suddenly 3 ladies walked over to our table and stand next to me.

Lady1:"Hey handsome. Care to buy us some drink?" she asked looking at me then sat on my lap. I gulped then tried my best to move away but fail because she had her hand wrapping on my neck. I mind link to Benji to help me out.

Benji:"Well pretty, my sister here has a girlfriend and need to go home to her now" he said then stood up and held the lady up away from my lap and whispered something to the lady.

Lady3:"How about we have some fun with you guys. I am sure your girl is not as hot 3 of us" she said then walked towards me again.

I then stood up and walked away towards the washroom while Matt and Benji blocked the 2 ladies and whispered something to them as well.

Ash:"What the hell is happening as in why everyone is aiming on me. Something seems not right" I said suddenly something clicked. "Is must be Henry and he is doing something funny here; trying to get girls to me and snapshot photo... That's it and I need to get out from here as soon as possible" I said to myself while walking out from the washroom.

I mind link to Benji telling him to meet me at the back door because I sensed something fishy going around there and someone might be hiding somewhere taking photo of me. When I almost near the back door exit I was pulled by someone then suddenly a pair of plump lips attached to my lips. I was shocked and quickly pulled away within seconds then before that I can see some camera flashed. I quickly looked where that flashed came from and was from a man siting nearby the kitchen.
