**the next day Ash went missing**

Jonathan POV

I walked into the Police Station around 8.50am and towards the Drinks Station. I made myself a cup of Americano and Ash a Hot Cocoa. I took the drinks and walked into the office and strange things were Ash is not here yet. Basically she will be the 1st person to be in the office everyday sitting on her chair and going through files and cases. She is that kind of person who wanted to know everything clearly in advance before joining or calling for a meeting to brief us on the case. I walked towards her desk and put the cup of Hot Cocoa on the desk and walked back to my desk. After 30 minutes, Ash was still nowhere to be found so I decided to call her. Her called was all diverted to Voice Mail. Is strange and normally she will called in to report if she will be late or had some errant to do. I walked over to where Jenny was.

Jonathan:"Jenny, did Ash call in report or inform that she will be late today or have something to do?" I asked.

Jenny:"Nope. I also wonder why she is not in by now as usually she will be the earliest among you guys" she said.

Jonathan:"Okay. Thanks" I said then walked back to my desk.

Jeremy:"Jonathan, where is Ash? I thought we are supposed to have a meeting this morning? I can't find her anywhere though" he asked.

Jonathan:"I am not sure and this is not like her because she will normally call in and inform if she will be late or not coming in. I did try to call her on her mobile but all divert to voice mail" I said.

Jeremy:"Maybe can try to call her friends?" he said.

Jonathan:"Okay. Now you inform everyone to continue with their task while I try to check out where Ash is" I said and he nodded.

I then unlocked my phone and dialed Vivian's number.

**phone conversation between Jonathan and Vivian**

Jonathan:"Hello, Vivian?" I said.

Vivian:"Yes and who is this?" she asked.

Jonathan:"This is Jonathan; Ash's working partner" I said.

Vivian:"Ah, yes. How may I help you?" she asked.

Jonathan:"Did Ash contact you and Jamie? I am not able to get hold of her the whole morning and all my call was diverted to voice mail" I said.

Vivian:"Strange. She normally will inform people if she is going somewhere but this is totally not her. Might there be something happen to her?" she asked.

Jonathan:"She is a Police Officer with a gun, what might happen to her?" I said.

Vivian:"Well, Police Office is still a human being and human being has a soft spot and also will encounter energy drain and become vulnerable if one over-worked. Should we meet up at her apartment? Maybe she happens to be knock off again in her apartment like last time?" she said.

Jonathan:"True. Okay, I am going there now. See you in 30 minutes" I said then ended the call.

Third Person POV

Jonathan quickly ran to his car and drove all the way to Ash's apartment same goes to Vivian and Jamie. Jonathan reached Ash apartment around 35 minutes. Once he reached, he walked down from his car and waited for Vivian and Jamie to reach. Both ladies reached around 10 minutes and got down from the car once they spotted Jonathan. 3 of them walked towards the guard house and registered in order to go up to Ash's unit. Once they reached lobby, they took the next available elevator up to Ash's apartment unit. Once they are in front of Ash's unit, Jonathan rings the bell few times then knocks on the door. He then lean onto the door to listen for any noise coming from inside. After 10 minutes of knocking and calling still no feedback from Ash. So they decided to go back to the building security office to request checking on their CCTV to see whether did Ash comes back yesterday. Once there are at the lobby, they walked straight towards the security office following the signage.
