Chapter 34 - There goes the plan

Ash POV

I woke up around 5am and changed into my sports attire as I want to have a run since it has been quite some time I hadn't got the chance to run again. I strap my phone onto the small pouch around my arm, plugged in the wireless earphone and grab my bottle of Gatorade after I finished wearing my running shoes. I grabbed my keys and wallet then slot them inside my waist pouch and walked out from my apartment. Once I am out at the compound, I slowly turned left and walked towards the park. I can feel the air breeze touching my body and face. Then I saw 2 figures walking towards me and realized was Matt and Benji.

Ash:"Good morning ... What are you guys doing here?" I asked looking at them with their sports attire as well.

Benji:"Well, we wanna have a run with you too" he said then jogged next to me.

Matt:"Ya. Our little Benji here said he want jog with you so he can have some bonding time with you" he said smiling.

Ash:"Oh. How you guys know? Did I accidentally mind link you guys or anything?" I asked looking at Benji.

Benji:"Nope you didn't but I just kind of .... Erm... stalking you" he said shyly.

Ash:"Stalking me? Oh come on.. You have my number and you can text me anytime if you want to hang out.. Don't need to stalk me and you know I am a police officer and I can easily sense something and IF I accidentally hurt you how? Mama for sure will freak out" I said jokingly at him while Matt is laughing out loud looking at how shy Benji had become.

Benji:"Well, I just get kind of ... nervous, you know. It has been a long time and now you are back and me standing beside you" he said while we started to jog.

Ash:"Well, there is nothing to be nervous at. I am your sister and you can always text or call me to hang out and IF I have nothing to do, of cause I will hang out with you guys. You guys are my family now and you being my little brother" I said while meddling with his hair.

3 of us talked while jogged side by side. Matt did asked me why didn't I buy a car since taking public transport is hectic in the morning and evening and is easier for me to travel around with a car. I told him that I am saving for 1 but at the moment I am okay with taking the subway to work and to places I want to go. He told me that I can always ask my dad to buy me a car now BUT I insisted to get it myself and not using other people's money or help. When he tried to continue arguing with me, I stopped him and told him that we are not going to continue with this conversation else I am going back home. He then raised his hand in surrender then Benji slipped in and changed the topic about girls. 

Benji told me that he wished he can meet his mate soon and wonder how she looks like. Matt and I chuckled on his cuteness when he talked about girls. Although I don't have much experienced with girls, I told him that he had to treat his partner very good; as in as a princess or as a queen if he wants to have a beautiful love story with his mate. That is what I do. Both of them can't wait to meet up with Christina by the way how I describe her to them. We continue to chat then went for breakfast before I go back my apartment to bath and ready to work. Once I reached my apartment compound, I gave Benji a hugged and wave 2 of them bye then walked into the lobby to take the next elevator up to my unit. Once I am back into my apartment, I took out my socks and shoes then walked into the bathroom and stripped off my cloths. 

After 20 minutes of hot shower, I walked out with my towel wrapped on my body and walked into my bedroom. I took a new pair of sports bra, a boxer pants, a green checked shirt and a pair of jeans. I comb my short hair then sprayed some of my favorite perfume and walked out from my bedroom and closed the door. I then take my backpack and phone. I wear my socks and shoe then unlocked the door, walked out, closed and locked the door. I took the elevator down the lobby and once I reached the lobby, I walked across the road then 2 blocks down towards the subway and get the next train to London Police Station HQ Station.
