Chapter 47 - Regret and Heart Broken

Ash POV

After what I saw, I felt heart broken and sad. I straight away jumped off the building from the 8th floor before being noticed by anyone. Once I landed on the ground, I ran towards the park and towards a big tree then start punching it; until my knuckles were all bleeding. I clutched on my right chest when it started to hurt; the feeling of my heart broken into pieces like a vase. I cried for the 1st time on how it hurts to see the love of my life was no longer in love with me but with someone else.

Ash:"Am I too late?" I asked myself kneeling in front of the tree.

Natasha:"5 years... Do you think a normal human willing to wait for someone like us for so long?" she said kneeling down beside me. "Even though you can heal yourself but please don't hurt yourself, okay?" she said while tearing out a piece of cloth from her t-shirt and wrapped them onto both my knuckles to avoid further bleeding.

Ash:"It hurts, Tasha.... It hurts badly. I wish I can come back earlier and .... " I said then covered my face with both my hands and cried.

Natasha:"Is okay to feel hurt. Is a natural feeling everyone will feel when you know the one you love no longer loves you" she said hugging me on the side. "Let's get you home and get those clean up before it gets infected" she said gesturing me to stand up and walked back to the house where Benji and Matt used to stay.

Natasha and I slowly walked back to the house where Benji and Matt were. Once we step into the house, Benji and Matt were shocked looking at me.

Benji:"I thought you won't be back so soon" he said smirking. I quickly rushed up to my room and closed the door loudly. "What just happen? Something wrong with her?" he asked looking at Natasha.

Natasha:"She saw her mate kissing someone in front of her house then she went to punch a tree and got her knuckles all bleed. So I went over and console her then wrap her wound with some piece of my t-shirt" she said.

Both Benji and Matt gasped on what Natasha said earlier that Christina was kissing someone.

Natasha:"Yes. Her mate; Ms. Christina Wolfe kissed someone in front of Ash. I bet Christina didn't notice Ash was there" she said.

Benji:"Gosh... Ash must be very heart broken now. What shall we do? Should we go and confront her mate and ask?" he asked looking at Natasha.

Matt:"I think is best not to try to do anything funny for now as we don't want to make Ash more sad. We just monitor how Ash is acting the coming days. If is bad then we just go back home" he said while Benji and Natasha nodded.

Natasha:"I will go up and check on Ash. Good night" she said then walked up to Ash's room.

Third Person POV

Natasha knocked onto the door and waited for Ash to say something. After waiting for 5 minutes still no sound coming from Ash's room, she turned the door knob and opened the door. She was shocked to see Ash lying pale on the floor clutching her right chest.

Natasha:"Help! Benji, Matt! Get Zuli quick!" she shouted from inside the room while trying to move towards Ash but fail because there seems to be a force blocking her from getting near Ash. "Shit! We need witches too" she shouted and within seconds Benji and Matt came running into the room.

Benji:" What happened? Is she alright?" he asked walking near towards Ash but was bounced away by the force surrounding Ash. "What just happen? Why can't I go near her?" he asked.

Matt:"Must be Ash herself using the new power within to block us from saving her" he said.

Benji:"Why she wants to do that?" he asked.
