Chapter 15 - Merry Christmas

What should I buy! What should I buy?!

I walked around the mall desperately, looking through store to store.
If I could buy the whole mall I would because I literally have no god damn idea what Peridot likes.
She likes anime, video games, and figures.
That's all I know, but what kind?

I sighed covering my face.

"Chill L. You're like almost exploding of stress" Amethyst wrapped her arm around my neck.

"The fuck I'm I suppose to buy.." I mumbled.
"Wait..."

I grabbed Amethyst by the shoulders, "you know Peridot more! What does she like?!"

Amethyst looked at me wide eyed. She slowly shrugged, giving me a grin.

I rolled my eyes, and face palmed. "You're her childhood friend....AND YOU DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA!?"

"hey you're her girlfriend!"

".....touché"

I sighed and calmed down. First things first.
Peridot loves video games, so I should buy her a couple of them. She likes comic books, so that's another gift.
I quickly jogged to the nearest game store.

"Wha...hey! Wait up!" Amethyst followed.

I ran in, looking around. I could buy her a controller since she rages a lot, even ends up breaking a controller. Then some games, so that when she finishes one, she can play another.
I quickly bought the stuff and ran out again.

"Aw c'mon..." Amethyst ran after me.

I quickly ran into a book store. I looked around for any type of manga.
I didn't end up finding any so I asked for help.
When I finally found what I needed, I bought it and out I went.
I bought a few shirts and Jeans for her as well.

I stopped and looked at the things I bought.
So far it seemed I had everything.

"Huff....a-are we done?...my legs huuurt.." Amethyst whined.

I checked my phone for the time. 11:23am.

I nodded, "we're all done. Hopefully Peridot doesn't get suspicious.."

Peridot's Pov

What would she like....maybe some clothes. But that's so basic. Maybe some toys for her Pumpkin?...nah that's just a present for her pup.

"Uuugh..." usually I don't struggle to buy gifts. But Lapis is a strange girl.
She likes almost everything...

"You could buy her some pretzels?" Spinel handed me one.

"....why are you here again?"

She shrugged, "uuh..plot reasons?"

This girl is strange. Yet fun to be with.
I walked around the mall.
I was going to go to the one near the beach. But I thought maybe this mall would have something.
I told Lapis that I was going to the DMV.
Instead I'm here trying to buy her gifts.

"Didn't you mention that she likes music?" Spinel said.

"Yea. Her favorite band is Twenty One Pilots."

Spinel smiled, "well, there is a store that sells music records. You could buy her one. Maybe a record player too if you don't have one."

I mean. That doesn't sound like a bad idea. "Hmmm...yea. that sounds good!"

"C'mon then. Let's go."

I followed Spinel to the store.
The store smelled like lemons for some reason.
Nonetheless, there were lots of music related stuff.
CDs, records, posters, and what I'm looking for. A record player.
