- time skip to like a couple weeks later-
I was able to go back to work. Of course Joseph came with me the station was a safe place and everyone loved him.
I was in my office and Joseph was in the crib next to me. My door had opened and an office walked in.
"Sorry to bother ms. Y/l/n but we had another murder today"
"Ok can you get jayden to watch joseph for me" he nodded and walked out.
I grabbed my suitcase and gun. Jayden walked in a few minutes later.
"Hey uh you needed me?"
"Watch joseph I'll be back"
He nodded and I walked out. I got in my car and followed everyone to the crime scene. It was at an old warehouse off the highway.
I got out my car and walked in following the cops.
We split up into different groups following the trails of blood. I went bye myself and held my gun to my side walking into one of the rooms slowly.
The door closed my being me and I turned around pointing my gun at it. I walked backwards bumping into something. I turned around and the lights turned on.
Mattia was standing infront of me with a smirk on his face.
"Hey princess"
"Mattia I'm here to arrest you"
"Why though?" He wrapped his arms around my waist
"No I'm not playing with you anymore im serious about my job your not getting off the hook this time.
"Baby you know you missed me"
"Your right.."
"See I knew it" he grinned
I put my gun to my side and pressed a button alerting the other cops. Soon the doors busted open and the swat tem came in through the windows surrounding him.
"Really? This is how you repay me after all I've done"
"Mattia polibio your are under arrest for murder, assault, robbery.. you know what you've done" I said handcuffing him
"Anything you say or do will be used against you during your trials in court" I said walking him out.
The news was outside with a bunch of reporters, and TMZ these people find out shit quick.
I put him in the back of my car, and got in. We drove off back to the station. The drive was silent and mattia just stared at me.
"You know I never expected to be in a cop car again I forgot how uncomfy these seats are" he moved around
"You'll be in your cell in a minute"
"Will you ever let me see my kid?"
I didnt say anything and stayed quiet.
"So is that a yes or a no?"
"Why would a son want to see their dad in a cell?"
"Then don't arrest me simple as that" he shrugged
I rolled my eyes and kept driving. We arrived back at the station and a bunch of other cops took mattia in. I walked inside my office and saw jayden holding the baby giving him his bottle of milk.
"What's going on out there?" He asked
"We got mattia"
"Wow.. who arrested him?"
"Me.."
"Oh wow I.. do you want joseph back?"
"Yea thanks for taking care of him"
He nodded and handed me him.
"I gotta head out the detective needs me" jayden said
I nodded and he left.
Joseph looked at me and smiled. He had mattias eyes which was so adorable. He basically had mattias face, but my lips.
"Mrs. Y/n hes ready" an officer walked in
I nodded and put a little beanie and cover on joseph because it was cold in those rooms.
I walked down the hall and opened the door. Mattia was sitting there in handcuffs, with an orange jumpsuit.
He looked up at me and smirked. I sat across from him and sat the files on the desk.
"Ok.. let's start"
"I wanna hold him" he said
"No.. not until you answer my questions"
"Fine.. ask away"
I sat a recording tape on the table and pressed start.
"What made you want to start this life of crime?"
"I felt like it I wanted too"
"The murders the way you murdered people why did you do it?"
"Some of the people were for fun, some owed and some.. I just didnt like them" he shrugged
"How did you make the money you have today"
"I laundered it, robbed, sold drugs and weapons"
"Do you have any partners?"
I knew who they were, but I had to ask that question it was apart of my job
"I'm no snitch" he leaned forward.
"In this file here it say you.. killed your uncle.. why?"
"He hurt my mom"
"Ok.. that's all I needed to know" I stopped the recorder and closed the files
I turned back at the glass window and held up an Ok signal and the red button on the camera turned off. So that means we no one could see us.
"Now.. I wanna hold him"
I sighed and passed him over. He carefully held him and rocked him back and forth.
"He has my eyes" he slightly chuckled
"Yea.. he does"
Mattia sniffled and I saw a tear fall down his cheek. I leaned over and wiped it.
"Here I dont want to waste your time" he handed me Joseph.
I took him and we both got up and I walked him out. The officers were waiting outside for him. They took him down to the temporary cells.
I walked back in my office and sat joseph back in his crib and gave him a toy to play with.
I felt some way when I was talking to mattia. I missed him.. a lot, but I had to stay strong I cant show weakness especially to him.
