I was back at my house asleep with Joseph next to me. I heard my door bell ring, and groaned. I got up, and walked downstairs to the door.
"who is it?" i asked
"jay" the muffled voice said from the other side
I opened the door, and there stood jayden with a smile on his face.
"hey jay, whats up?"
"hey i um got you a gift" he handed me a little box from his pocket
I looked confused for a second, then took it from him. I opened it, and saw a little ring.

"oh wow, whats this for?"
"a princess deserves a princess ring" he slightly smiled
I hugged him, and he hugged me back. We stayed like that for a couple of minutes. I forgot how comforting it was to be in his arms, his cinnamon scent. I missed it.. a lot. I closed my eyes enjoying the moment, snuggling my head in his chest.
"y/n-"
"shh" i mumbled against his chest
He picked me up and carried us to the couch. He laid down, while i was on top of him. He played with my hair, while i fell asleep.
~time skip to a couple hours later~
"y/n.. wake up" jay tapped my shoulder
i yawned and sat up
"what?"
"its 5:40"
"so?"
"your alarm keeps going off"
I rubbed my eyes and stared into thin air, zoning out.
"y/n" jay shook me
"yea yea ok i'm up" i stood up
"why does your alarm keep going off"
I picked up my phone and looked at it
"date with mattia" popped up on my phone and my eyes widened.
"fuck.." i mumbled
I ran upstairs, and took a shower. I got out, and hurried to my closet finding a dress and shoes to wear.
"hey um.. i was just finishing getting ready" i smiled
"hey.. i didn't know he was here" mattia raised his eyebrow
"yea.. um jay can you watch joseph tonight i'll be back"
"sure ill see you later" he hugged me
"mhm" i hugged him back, then walked out with mattia
We got in the car, and there was an awkward silence plus tension.
