Rowan POV
As much as I hated to admit it, she looked amazing. In a tight black dress, I could hardly keep my eyes off her during the time we were 'introduced'. But I couldn't let her beauty distract me, she was Celeana Sardothien. Aelin was Celeana Sardothien. She said that she doesn't work for Arobynn anymore - yet she is doing this job for him. She's friends with Mr. Havilliard's son, I've seen them talking. That could make the job be a lot trickier. We were sat in a car, being driven back to school. The six of us, and Aelin. The awkward silence was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Fenrys decided to break it - in the worst way possible.
"Lorcan has to break up with Elide." He said. Aelin turned and stared straight at Lorcan, who lowered his head.
"If he does that I'll cut off his balls and give them to Elide as a present." She said, violence laced throughout her voice. Fenrys started laughing, and I had to stop myself from chuckling. Lorcan paled, still not looking up.
"Why Lorcan's relationship concern you, Celeana?" Connall asked, scrutinizing her.
"If this is going to work, you are going to call me Aelin. Nothing else. And it's none of your business." She turned her stare to Connall. It was definitely a stare of disapproval. Great. I mean, Connall isn't exactly our favourite person ever, but we have to tolerate him. Aelin was going to have to learn to, as well, it seemed. She turned back to Lorcan.
"And why do you have to break up with Elide? I thought you loved her. She certainly loves you."
"It's Maeve." He finally looked up, "she doesn't want us having lives without her. So she tries to control us in any way possible. I should have never asked her out - deep down I knew it'd come to this. If I don't - I don't want to know what Maeve will do to her." Lorcan finally looked up - sadness filling his face. Usually he never shows emotion on his face- you have to know him really well to read him. But the pure anguish on his face meant that he really was heartbroken. I felt bad for him - the year after Lyria died was awful. Hell, life still is. If he is feeling only a fraction of what I felt he'd be devastated.
Lyria. We dated for a year three years ago. I can say with full honestly we'd still be dating if she was alive. We loved each other. She worked in her family's florist, and was so innocent. She brought a light into my life, one that I lost when we started working for Maeve. One that I lost again when she died.
"Have you told her about Maeve?" Aelin asked Lorcan.
"No, of course not."
"Well have you thought about it? If she loves you she should know."
"That's enough." Lorcan snapped, "You have no business interfering with my relationship." Aelin mumbled something under her breath, but didn't retaliate.
"Anyway..." Gavriel started, "I don't believe we've actually met Celea- Aelin. I'm Gavriel." He smiled at her, trying to diffuse the situation.
"Yeah what's the deal with that anyway? Two names? That's a bit far. That's coming from a Moonbeam." Fenrys grinned at Aelin, punching her in the arm.
"None of your business, Moonbeam." She smirked. Boy, it was a sight. The car screeched to a halt, ridding me of my thoughts. We got out, and Fenrys and Connall started walking to their house outside of campus. Lorcan and I walked back to our room, and I was glad to see the night over.

Aelin POV
As soon as I was out of sight of the 'cadre' I bolted to my room. I slammed the door behind me, grateful that Lysandra was still up.
"What happened? Are you okay? What did he want?" She started firing questions at me.
"I- I have to kill Dorian's Dad." I breathed.
"What?" She screeched.
"Yeah." I sighed.
"Tell me exactly what happened at that meeting. From the beginning." I sat down on my bed, and let out a deep breath. I started explaining everything. She stared at ne with wild eyes, listening intently to everything I was saying. As i got to the bit about working with the others I wished I had gotten changed before I started talking. I may look amazing in this dress, but the bra I have to wear with it is a nightmare.
"So you have to kill Dorian's Dad."
"Yep."
"With Rowan, Fenrys, Lorcan, Connall, Gavriel and Vaughan."
"Mm-hm."
"In six weeks."
"That's right."
"Why?" Lysandra asked, lying out on her bed, "I thought you'd put all of this behind you."
"I thought so to. But I;m making sure he pays me well." Lysandra bolted back upright.
"You're doing it for money?" She looked a me with disgust.
"And he'll tell me who really killed Sam." The disgust in her eyes changed to sadness.
"I-..." She was speechless. I just nodded my head, pain filling my heart. "But- I thought Rourke Farran killed Sam. Yu killed him for it."
"He was framed. Apparently I 'eliminated competition' when I killed him."
"Oh Aelin." Lysandra came and sat next to me, and took my hand in hers. She was trying to comfort me. To be honest - it worked a little.
"I have to tell Aedion and Elide, don't I?"
"Yeah, you do."
"I'll do it tomorrow. I'm exhausted."
A/n
This is a bit shorter than the other chapters - and a bit of a filler one tbh. It took me a while to write because it doesn't really impact the plot, I think. But hey - I didn't end on a cliffhanger for once. I think the next chapter might be a bit sad - I'm giving you an advanced warning :)
