I can only describe the rest of the week with one word: productive. I finally got a handle on the ability. Usually, it takes me months, but since I had multiple days in a row to do it without distractions, I could pick it up quickly. On Thursday, I was able to work with Anna alone all day on it. At first, I tried looking for small things. For example, I concentrated so hard, and I was able to get images, or visions as Anna calls them, of what car was going to pass by the house at an exact time. Anna would then stand up, look out the window, and confirm I was correct.

We then moved on to another vision. Anna had me sit with my back facing the muted television screen. With some work, I could see what would pop up on the screen before it happened. I decided to try some on my own without Anna knowing. For example, I focused on my father, and I could see that he was going to call Anna and tell her that he would surprise her with dinner. I could also see what he was going to pick for her: large pizza with extra tomato sauce. Once he called her, I told her I saw it happen and that I knew what he would get her for dinner. Let's just say when dad got home, she almost dropped to the floor in amazement.

Friday, I saw my father getting a call about a puppy getting stuck in a tree. He doesn't usually get calls like this, so when he told us that night about the call, I smirked at Anna, who didn't believe me when I told her. We decided to watch a movie on TV that night, and my dad switched the channel quickly to the lottery. I saw the numbers and texted them to Anna before they were announced. If only I had looked for those numbers earlier, we would've been millionaires.

Saturday, I was able to see multiple hours into the future. I saw my dad and Anna at a cute restaurant in Port Angeles and then at a cute dance class where I knew Anna would drag him. My dad was going to surprise her, and I told her to go ahead and get prepared for a great night. When my dad got home, I had already picked out her outfit and jewelry and told her that he was taking her out tonight to do things she loved to do.

It's now Sunday night, and I am getting ready for school tomorrow. I had done all my work and had already planned my English project. Hopefully, Alice and Jasper will agree to go along with my ideas since I already had a whole project proposal set up. I decided not to try and look for things involving the Cullens. I feel like it's an invasion of privacy: doing that to people I barely know. I also decided not to let the vision I got of him control my thoughts about him. If it happens, it happens. The future can always change, even though my visions haven't been wrong or changed since I started getting them.

I open my locker and grab the things I need for classes this morning. Suddenly, I feel someone tap me on my shoulder. I turn around and see that it's Lyvia.

"Oh, Netta, I'm glad you're okay. You had me a little scared. You left suddenly on Wednesday, and then you didn't show up for the rest of the week."

"I'm sorry, Lyv. My head had been hurting all week, and I needed a break to let myself heal."

"I totally get that! But... you couldn't text me back?"

"I'm sorry. I tried to stay off my phone the whole week to take a break. I know I should've texted you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me." I hold out my arms, offering a hug. She stands there for a few seconds and hugs me.

"Of course, I forgive you! Just don't pull that again." She pulls away and has a slight smirk on her face. "I wasn't the only one who missed you." I looked at her, puzzled.

"What do you mean?"

"Jasper asked daily if you were okay and if I had heard from you. He seemed generally worried about you. So cute. He is totes crushing on you."
