Trying to open my eyes this time is a struggle at first. It feels like a good amount of time to build up enough strength to do it. After a little while, I slowly blink, transitioning to actually opening my eyes. When I do, I realize I am in an all-too-familiar room in an all-too-familiar house.

Oh my god. I must be dreaming.

I'm back in Jasper's room. Everything is like it was. I can hear everyone downstairs. They are having normal conversations, but I can also hear my name a few times. For a moment, I thought everything was a nightmare since this is what like used to be like. Then all the memories of what happened caught up to me. I sit straight up in bed and let out a loud groan. My head is throbbing horribly. I hear someone rushing up to the room.

"Are you okay?" It's Jasper. Of course.

"I'm doing awesome," I say, shielding my eyes from the lights. "Please turn off the lights, they are hurting my head." He does what I ask and is sitting next to me again. "Thank you."

"You're welcome." He pauses for a moment. "What happened?"

"Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm very confused."

"May I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Are your powers back?"

I pause for a moment before answering. "Yes." There's no reason right now to keep it a secret.

"When did it happen?"

"After I turned. Tati said they were most likely dormant because, and I quote, 'no one that powerful couldn't lose all that power from a simple car accident'."

"I agree with her." He smiles slightly. "You were already powerful as a human, but now you're even more powerful. Being a vampire enhanced your powers, making them stronger." Something just popped into my head.

"Oh my god, that's it!"

"What?"

"Becoming a vampire enhanced my powers!" He looks confused. "I had to make contact with someone with their power to take it as my own."

"Yeah."

"What if I took Jane's power as my own when she was actively using it on you?"

"It's very much a possibility."

I jump up and run downstairs. "Is it possible?" I asked Carlisle, knowing he could hear our conversation.

"I wouldn't count it out." He sounds slightly apprehensive.

I look around and look at the entire Cullen family sitting in the living room. Then it comes back. All the pain I felt when they left. Do they deserve my forgiveness? It would take a lot of work on their part to fix when they did.

"Hello everyone," I say, my body stiffening automatically.

"Netta?" Rosalie says.

"Yes?"

"I want to apologize for my part in what happened." Guilt and regret are radiating off of her. "I jumped to conclusions. I was very upset, thinking you were dead. I should've found a way to check in and not fully trust Alice's vision, since they aren't always the most reliable."

I pause for a moment, everyone watching me with hesitation. "I understand why you did what you did, and you have learned from your mistake." Right before she can respond, Bella and Edward walk through the front door. When I look at them, I realize that it is nighttime. I wonder how long I was out.

I turn and look at Jasper. "How long was I out?"

"Two days. We hired a private jet to get us back since it definitely would've raised concerns if we brought an unconscious you to a crowded airport."

"Oh, okay. Thank you." I look back at Bella. "You look like you're on a mission."

"I am." She responds, sounding on edge.

I look into her mind and see what she is planning. Oh fuck. "You must be out of your fucking mind, Bella."

"What?"

"No one is going to vote on this."

"Wait, how did you know?"

"Oh, right. You weren't here when I said it."

"My powers are back. I'm sorry I lied to you, but it was in your best interest to be in the dark about it when we were in Italy."

"Oh. I get it." She walks towards the middle of the room. "I would like to have a formal meeting in the dining room, please." Everyone stands up and walks to the dining room, Jasper and Edward being the last ones.

"She's not serious, right?" I ask Edward. His eyes say it all.

"She is."

"Fucking hell." We follow into the dining room, Jasper staying close to me. After this, he and I need to have our conversation.

We all sit down and watch Bella stand at the head of the table.

"We all know the Volturi's demand. I am to be turned within the next six months. I want to put my immortality up to vote." Everyone looks around, eyeing each other. "I would like for everyone to vote yes or no." She turns and starts with Edward. "I already know Edward's stance, so let's start with Alice."

"I already consider you my sister, so yes." She smiles softly at Bella.

"I vote no," Rosalie states. "You would be giving up a life, a mortal life. There is so much you can do out there, and you're willing to give it up so easily. We can find a way to keep you safe." Bella stares at her for a moment, before moving her eyes to Emmett.

"I vote hell yeah." He runs up and gives Bella a big hug, swinging her around. She laughs at his reaction.

"Esme?" She asks.

"Yes."

"Carlisle?" He pauses for a moment, looking at Edward.

"How can you vote this way?" Edward asks. "You of all people know what this means."

"I vote yes because I won't lose my son again. You were almost gone due to the possibility of Bella dying. We can't go through that again." Understandable, but still crazy.

"Jasper?" Bella asks. I look up at him. He's already looking at me. I can see that he is debating between yes and no.

"Honestly, I could vote either." Bella gives him a confused look, and Edward is not happy at all. "If you had asked a question like this if Janetta wasn't in the picture, I'd say yes. Being around a human this much would've very much tested my control. Your turning would ease that. But that is a selfish reason." He looks at Edward. "I would vote no because it would hurt Edward. You're my brother, and I hate to see you hurt." He then looks down at me. "But I know losing Bella would hurt Janetta. Even if she denies it and wants to vote no, losing Bella would be too much for her. So, I vote yes."

"Thank you for your honesty," Bella says to him. Her eyes then move to me. "Netta?"

"I will support whatever you want to do. I wish you weren't in this situation, but I've read Aro's mind. He will do whatever it takes to make sure you are turned. But, I would like to add something for the no side. I am very powerful now. I can easily protect you. Hurt anyone that comes in your way."

"They will find a way. Their group is huge." She responds.

"Me plus everyone else here would easily be able to keep you safe."

"I'd rather be safe than sorry." She snapped.

"Okay, just wanted to add in that point. I support whatever you decide to do."

"Then it is decided." She declares. "Where should we do this?" Everyone's eyes widen.

"Bella, we need time to prepare. Give it some time." Alice says.

"Dad will lose his mind if you disappear after you left for days AND after I disappeared for weeks." Edward leans down and whispers in Bella's ear to follow him so they can talk.

While they go, I look at Jasper. "Can we go talk?" He nods, standing up and holding out his hand. I reluctantly grab it. He understands we need privacy, so we head out to the woods.
