Alight"JINNIE HYUNGIE!" Hoseok screamed pleadingly, his little feet tripping over each other and causing him to lose balance, his eyes searching around the dark for his best friend.
His small hands pressed against the dirt, though is tiny eyes widened when he realized the dirt was wet, when he put his hands towards the moon light he noticed they were red. He began shaking, now more fearful than before.
"JINNIE HYUNG!" he screamed louder, forcing himself to get up and continue walking in these woods he's never been in before.
It seemed like the trees were staring at him, taunting him, laughing in his face when he jumped at every little sound the earth produced. Hoseok wasn't used to being alone, especially in the woods, the dark, ominous woods, where that evil man stole his best friend.
Everyone told him to wait, told him he couldn't go searching for Jin without an adult with him but Hoseok didn't listen. His best friend was taken away and good potentially be getting hurt and they want him to wait??
So he ran, ran into the woods without looking back, his sudden bravery dissipating from his veins with every eerie step he took further into the woods.
The dark of the night didn't help calm his fears.
"Jin-" his words were stopped when he heard a scream a couple feet away from him, and before he even told himself to start running, his legs were already moving faster than Hoseok knew they could move.
When Hoseok did finally reach SeokJin, his brown eyes filled with undeniable fear for his best friend. The position Jin was in was the most frightening thing.
SeokJin rarely ever displayed his fear, he rarely cried, and was always strong, for his family and for Hoseok. Hoseok was, and still is, a sensitive person, and as a child he was spooked by the simplest of things and always worried for others and anything they could potentially be going through more than he ever worried for himself.
Explaining why he ran into the woods to help Jin without thinking of his own safety or the fact his parent's were going to become worried.
Jin had a knife pressed to his throat, his feet dangling in the air, turned the wrong way. A man much bigger than him was holding him up, he was holding the knife to Jin's throat, his red hair disarrayed in various directions, his mouth near Jin's ear as a sick chuckle escaped his chapped lips. His eyes held malice within them, staring at Jin almost sharper than the knife pressed against his throat.
"J-Jinnie..." Hoseok mumbled, though both Jin and the man heard him loud and clear.
Jin's eight year old eyes widened, he tried to break out of the man's hold, his eyes going into orange as he thrashed, but the man held him even tighter and made his eyes glow orange in a warning manner.
"H..Hobi RUN AWAY FROM HERE!" SeokJin managed, screaming as loud as he could and begging his bestfriend to leave.
Hoseok shook his head, his six year old eyes wide with fear, "N-no!" he yelled back, glaring at the man, which was adorable to the elder.
He chuckled while tilting his head back, "Do you have a whisp too little one?" he inquired mockingly, Hoseok backing away despite how much he didn't want too, Jin crying out for him to go.
Now Hoseok understood why this man took SeokJin, despite how young he was, because of his whisp. Whisp's were rare things, and whomever had them was considered blessed with divine power. Whisps are like another part of the person, powerful, with a mind of their own set to protect their owner. Jin couldn't make his show, because he didn't have a grip on it, he was only eight after all.
