I hate conflict,
But I am pretty much numb to it
Sit down be and quite
And never ever say your opinions,
That is how you survive other people fighting
That is not to say never stand up for others
But remember to do so smartly,
Sometimes we must bite our tongues
So I keep my head down during couple spats
They are only harshly whispered words
Between lovers stretched too thin,
So I will let them have their quarrels in peace
And I will pretend like I don't notice
Then we will all calmly have dinner,
And off to bed we’ll go.
