Accidentally tricked the waitress into a surprise sake shot
She must have thought I was much older than I truly am
Glam makeup has that side effect at times
Makes it so my under age face looks much closer to 21
So she delivered the quail egg shooters
And much to my surprise there was alcohol in mine
I was so shocked I didn't drink it for a minute
Just held it in my mouth unsure of what I should do
Finally I drank it and looked to my guardian in surprise
They laughed and asked me how it was
May not have been my first shot
But it was my first taste of alcohol in a restaurant
And that seemed to have meant something to someone
